This isn't a feel sorry for us, because it's our own fault. But to say we got off without punishment?

EXACTLY.

Much of the negative image we have in the football world is because the EFL and their stooge reporters have done a good PR job on us painting us as the rogues, and the EFL being knights in shining armour. What we need to do is mount a PR exercise of our own painting the real picture, showing not only the EFLs incompetence, but their corruption, and the blatant agenda which they have against Derby County, and the pig-ignorant, selfish, vindictive action by Steve Gibson who probably knew he had no case, and that it wouldn't stand up in court, but knew that the EEFL were scared of him and wouldn't stop him in his claim against our club. And he pursued that claim knowing that it would prevent us coming out of administration at Christmas, and would almost certainly see us relegated. Which it did.

So not only do we have an excellent case against the EFLuent (restriction of trade is a possibility), we might also be able to go for Steve Gibson as well because his unfounded claim, which would never have even got to  court, effectively relegated us.

I live in hope. (or dreamland!)

You forgot a very big one - mental health. That's the fans, the staff, the players, and the academy players.

And the two parasite clubs have failed to get promotion this season - Middlebrow choked before the play-offs yet again and Widdicombe Wanderers got put down by The Black Cats. Fantastic!

Everyone have their own little party, they had theirs when we were relegated.

I'll always despise the Holy gob-offs, Gibson & Couhig, pretending they are protectors of The Game when they are just opportunistic, selfish, destructive failures. The EFL's complicity in the whole double-debacle was unforgiveable.

I want us to destroy Widdicombe twice next season - on the pitch!

And Sunderland to get 'the double' over Middlebrow, hopefully!

IMO, if we are somehow despised by opposing fans next season, it won't be down to punishment or any perceived lack of it. It will be down to those fans on various fora and general social media who are looking at us getting masses of players in and spending lots of money and walking the League and that attitude is total arrogance. That scenario won't happen. We are limited to 21 players, excluding Under 20s, in the squad. We currently have SEVEN players. There is a squad salary cap of £2.5M a year in place. To put that into perspective Lawro is currently on about £1.4M. We will be allowed to pay players an average of £119K a year. Just like every other club in L1.

We need to temper our predictions, at least until we know what the squad looks like.

Where are you getting this from? I've seen nothing within the regs that confirms your opinions, nor am I aware of any indication as yet as to what restrictions the EFL may, or may not impose. Do you know someone on the EFL board?
