Day Posted January 20, 2022 Share Posted January 20, 2022 Just to throw another suggestion out there, contact the club, ask if Wayne Rooney would be willing to appear with fans (socially distanced of course) and the flag outside Pride Park before the bus leaves for the City Ground. It's not a flag that contains profanity or any edgy message, I can't see why he wouldn't want to get involved. Would also create a decent atmosphere for the players as they leave for what will be a difficult game. The SLO would be the best person to go through and try to organise this. There’s no way Rooney would allow pre match to be messed with. A lot of fans would make their way from the game and their sofas to join in I think.
