Interesting that Forsyth keeps playing at CB with Buchanan shoved out wide. Anyone think this is under instruction by Cocu to have him retrained permanently as a CB? Seems quite possible, with his injuries and his age, it may prove to be a good move.

Sadly for Buchanan he hasn't grown as tall as he might like, and is probably to short to be a professional centre back. Best for his development he gets the minutes at left back, hes got the ability for it.

Jahmal Hector-Ingram. Don’t moan if I have spelt it wrong. No-one else can be arsed to type it at all

Thanks

Jahmal Hector-Ingram completed his move to Pride Park in August, following an impressive spell as a trialist during pre-season.

The striker scored five goals in six games to earn a permanent contract with the club following his release from West Ham United at the end of the 2018/19 season.

Hector-Ingram spent 14 years with his boyhood club and he caught the eye by recording a goal and assist against Derby for West Ham back in April 2019 in a 2-2 draw at Pride Park.

After his signing was confirmed, Academy Director Darren Wassall said: “When a trialist comes in, especially a centre-forward, all you can ask is that they score goals. He has done that and shown he is a great finisher.”
