Some play around Hull's area, Dowell lifts a hooked cross in which goes out for a GK; but Martin and Bogle both adamant it should have been a corner.

I appreciate that judgement, and it was correct.

Someone else said something about typos and I do not approve! ?

Games on! We gave the ball in away in our half. Only update so far.

Giving the ball away in our own half ? Were we trying to play it out from the back???

Hull won the ball high up; put a ball across. Clarke's clearance was a pass to Irvine and Hull try to work an opening before Irvine skies a volley to end the pressure.

Play later they got a cross in from the byline; headed skyward by Bogle and claimed by Roos.

Derby possession saunters into the Hull half; Lawrence tries to play a through ball to Martin but hooks it out for a throw. Holmes was open on the other side of the pitch.

Lawrence plays into the box after a good pass from Bielik; he's challenged as he lays it off to Shinnie. His shot is block, Bielik hits the rebound first time but slices it into the crowd.

A minute later, Bogle picks up the ball in the Derby box and runs all the way across the the halfway line before being pulled back. Yellow card to Irvine.

Decent play by Derby works Holmes into the box. His layoff to the overlapping Bogle is heavy though. He has to backheel it to keep it in and Holmes' attempt at a cross is blocked.

Derby are playing with the ball pretty well here.

Davies' years as a Hull player are clearly making it difficult for him to determine who to pass to. He's passed to a Hull player 3 or so times so far. Everyone else has been mistake-light so far.

Really impressed with Bielik's start to the game. He's all over the pitch, he's not the most pleasing on the eye but his effort is non stop. Right there when you need him to break up their midfield.

Defensively, we need to sort out the organisation in there. When the balls up in the air we're so panicked. I wonder what the instructions before a game are, are we trying to keep it no matter what? Sometimes we just need to clear it surely.

Holmes runs onto a throughball from Martin. Only one defender in front of him; he tries to play it across infront of Dowell but its too far back and a defender stops it.

Hull go up the other end and do similar, in a more compact area; then work a shot from range which is saved by Roos and cleared by Clarke.
