Do Football Managers at clubs (or their agents) or those out of a job use journalists to approach football club Directors or Owners that they want a job at that club, even though there is a manager currently already at the club?

I have a strong suspicion that Gary Rowett's agent may have approached Sam Rush that he might go to Forest but would rather have the Derby job while Steve McClaran was still the manager.

Is John Percy surprised that the Premier League hasn't become a two tier league yet?

Given that time and again the EFL management have proven to be pretty poor over a whole range of issues including FFP, Rights deals, holding draws for cup competitions in Vietnam, and pretty much everything else it's a wonder established Second tier clubs such as ourselves and Forest, Leeds etc haven't made moves to join a second tier PL and benefit from their superior power and expertise.

Hi everyone

We're (hopefully) getting the Telegraph's John Percy on SBW for our next episode, where'll he'll fill us in on covering Derby, transfers, being ITK etc.

I wanted to throw this one out to you guys - does anyone have any burning questions they've wanted to ask the man most connected to Derby's transfer activity (Alan Nixon aside)?

We'll put the best ones to him on the phone tonight.

FYI, 'Who are we signing next?' doesn't count.

Cheers!
Chris

Given he's a huge fan of the gumps, does he think it's possible for him to report on the Mighty Derby objectively?

And has he not been embarrassed by the ownership down the other end of the Brian Clough Way since Nigel Doughty?

Bit late now the interview is already up on iTunes!

First part was actually spoken about

I enjoyed how he described the sinister cult of bBilly Davies.
