He's been a coach for so long now he must be looking at getting a top job Not that I'd want him in that role right now, the dirty red ?
JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta
Considering Chris Coleman and Alan Pardew as 'credible applications' is being incredibly generous to them. Absolutely useless the pair of them.

SSD
I think Lampard might be up for the challenge. Do I trust this chairman to give a young manager a credible amount of time and support, I’m not sure. Like others have said, Lampard being appoint will get bums on seats. It’d certainly get me excited. We have nothing to lose at this point. Expectations are low. Give him a try! cosmic
Dug a little bit and found a screenshot on here from 2015 of when the odds shortened massively for Clement before he was announced. (FYI: Before Clement was in the picture, every candidate had similar odds) Jump to 2018, Lampard is 1/5, with other candidates like Mick McCarthy and Paul Simpson on 14/1. Do odds really shorten that much compared to the rest of the pack, if there was nothing in it?

If Mel's prepared to give Lampard a shot, why not Bellemy? Read rave reviews about him at Cardiff's academy, he's a bit of dick, but I can imagine he wouldn't take any crap from the players, and at least he's actually coached...
