RadioactiveWaste
I have seen Wednesday fans so anti-butterfield they'd give him back without expecting Winnall back! Anyway, it's a bit of a blow losing him because he had that beef about him and Rowett had made good use of him. Sorry, Jaco Butterfield SOS, Silencing Owls Support. EulogyForEvolution
What a shame. I have a feeling that not having him further up the pitch will make away victories a little harder to come by. Let's hope that he's not out for too long. A centre mid and a beefy wide option could be on the cards.
jono
I wonder if that might give Anya a glimmer of hope even allowing for their vastly different styles ? Get well soon Bradley
Dimmu
Bad news. Not that I'm a massive fan of his but his ability to cover LM/AM/DM is useful. With such injury, we are pretty much forced to loan someone or even two. One DM and one more for attacking role.
rammieib
I think this forces Gary to ply midfielders with better technical ability. We may miss his physical presence but I don't think we will miss him.
cosmic
Real shame. No way around it, but we’re gonna end up with too many midfielders like when we replaced Hughes with Butterfield and Johnson. We’ve only just sorted that mess out.

Sparkle
Real shame, in certain games we have needed him and will miss him, I would have had him playing vs Birmingham and Millwall to be sure.

G-Ram
I like johnson but lets be fair he’s rubbish at DM so no real loss there. We have thorne & huds at DM. hanson will probably be back up while ledley is out and get game time could look to loan an attacking midfielder where johnson does look decent however worst case we do have bennett back as cover

Totally different styles of midfielder, do different things in different ways. I'm a Bryson fan and would like him back but he couldn't really partner Huddz in the 2 and he's not going to be ahead of Vydra or Lawrence in the advanced role. Johnson has the strength of Bovril made with three tea spoons of the stuff and the will of the warrior, just happens to have feet made of brisket...
