We are probably moving towards a front four of:

Russell - Vydra - Lawrence

Martin

However, it is good to have competition for places. As it is, we have won two games in a row and the current front four have contributed to those wins. If we keep winning, all four deserve to keep their places.

It occurs to me that while Weiman and Russell continue to perform then Tom might be part of a new alternative striker pairing rather than see as a wide man ?

Martin or Nugent

with

Vydra or Lawrence

just a thought ? Two pairs: leader and foil

Currently Martin is not fit enough for 90 minutes and out of form by a long way

This post is very boring.

None whatsoever. Guess this guy is trolling- joined the forum 3 days ago and has done nothing but tried to bash Martin at every opportunity.

He did claimed that he's Chris Martin 'fan' yet slagging him off every post (nearly)

How many goals has martin scored in last 15 matches

How many goals has nugent scored in last 15 matches

That is the fact find the answer then you will workout why i said it.

Nugent is first choice Martin is way out of form but you will only know that when you work out the above.

Many defenders don't even bother challenging Martin in the air they let him win the header but he just heads it in to space

What's any of that got to do with your unfit comment?!

Nobody is disagreeing with any of the above, it's the drivel you wrote prior to that.

Think he'll start v Grimsby but be sub v Sheff utd.

The winning team will be kept until someone deserves to be dropped or he's so clearly a level above he can't not play if fit.

Although I can see Rowett hopefully changing wingers round as a routine sub like we did under Mac1 - You're starting and give it everything for 60 then other is coming on for 30.

Yep, exactly. Hence you forever proclaiming how poor Chris Martin is. :p

Has his goals scored per season declined season on season or not?

Not saying he wasn't our best goalscorer because he was, yes was.   He had a poor season last term at Fulham and he has started this season the same.

Leave him on the bench and use him tochange a game plan if we need to late on in a game.
