Forest's Greek Tragedy

Not sure this Greek tragedy is going to end well.

Despite the encouraging news that the new owners are investing in the largest infrastructure improvement seen at the Sh*tty Ground in over a decade, they've already made a massive blunder.

Over the past two weeks a crack team of painters (or at least one painter) has been repainting the structural steelwork on the main stands starting with the BC Stand (make your own jokes).

But what have the imbeciles done?  Only gone and painted it in a 'Liverpoolesque' red colour.  Completely ignoring the traditional 'Forest Pink' of all the seating inside the ground.

The natives are not going to be happy.

@eezzeetiger@stoners@Red_Dawn A lot of experts picking Forest to struggle and maybe go down this season. Is it starting to worry you yet? Can the breadmaker go one better this year and return forest to where "a club like that neds to be"?

I mean, not, football pundits, not ex-players, but the unstintingly unbiased knowledge and wisdom of DCFC fans in the prediction thread.

But seriously, hows it looking over at the forest end? Cummings in and Assombalonga leaving?

They like to think of it as the famous "Gerrard-baldy"

With the new paint job?  A bit like Dot Cotton in bright red lipstick.

It worked for Watford.

And for the Rams when maxwell bought some Oxford players. Dean Saunders for one.

It worked out well for Derby (the bigger club) granted, but not so much for (the smaller) Oxford Utd. I would suggest that 'The Treetards' are regarded as the Oxford Utd of this scenario/the smaller of his 2 clubs at this time if you will??

I predict top 8 at least for Forest this season, wouldn't be surprised to see them make the play offs.

That's alright. Remember a few seasons ago when they had a shot at the play offs. They failed miserably of course, but it was fun trying to work out the permutations that saw us hammering them at Wembley, sending them in a downward spiral to league 2.
