I do get all of that, but question....Why was that approach not ok when Derby were doing it under Clough? Forest simply didn't look good enough to outplay us or strong enough to wrestle it away from us. Last 10 was like a training game. If I were their fans I'd be worried by the lack of fight because let's face it, one goal back at any stage and it would have been panic stations. Any team can have greater possession when the opposition game plan is to let them have it up until a certain point. Not every team can actually do what matters and stick the ball in the net. I personally wasn't saying that, that's for sure ive been calling us out for ages that the way you approached it was commendable and the right way. I sat through Mugleigh, McLaren, Cotternil and Freedman, all whilst owned by Fawaz. The short term issues with results isn't a problem for me. Performances and direction the club is going is more important. Fair play to the shaggers on here, got a couple of match winners and we saw them yesterday. Which ones? One clear cut, the others though? Similar to Lawrence's x2 free kicks, one hitting the bar and the other forcing a good save from your keeper. The Vydra cut back chance, the Lawrence one at the back post late on... I know you're probably on the wind up but you can't just make s*** up to suit an argument youth. I think Mel has his faults but im not sure hes in the Fawaz catergory just yet. Time will tell if he sticks by Rowett or not, im hoping hes learned from his mistakes, certainly the throwing money at it seems to have subsided.
