He could have driven it with his laces to the far corner or slid the ball across for either of Vydra or Nugent to tap in to the empty net. If QPR keep leaving space between their midfield and defence then Vydra is going to make them pay, either himself or setting someone up very shortly. Kernow Posted March 31, 2017 Share Posted March 31, 2017 If we can manage to get a goal before half time then we really could put them to the sword in the second half. QPR are playing three at the back with their wing backs dropping back when defending, much like Chelsea's system this season. However when we break down their attacks and hit them quickly, we're finding a lot of space down both flanks. QPR's back three are far too narrow and they're quite fortunate they haven't been properly punished yet. If we can get a goal before HT then they'll have to come out more offensive and we should, in theory, have even more space. QPR attacking and leaving three at that back could equal a decent goal-haul. Plus James Perch will be one of the three. It's a well known fact that nobody has ever seen James Perch have a good game.
