"We didn’t come here for the occasion, we came here to win! It’s crazy! A non-league side in the quarter-finals?! It’s unheard of. No time for celebrations, though, it’s North Ferriby away on Tuesday.”

You laugh but don't take anything away from Lincoln they are taking the FA Cup seriously.

Derby never beat Burnley at Turf Moor do they.

Hats off to them.

It was about time somebody beat Burnley at their own game.

So, what did Barton do?

Presumably this......

Flanagan and Barton try to kick the ball clear. Hawkridge rushes in. He cops one in the face from Barton, then is shoved by Flanagan. Then he falls, clutching his face. Barton is booked, as is Wood for getting involved in the resulting melee. Barton should probably have walked there, for clawing Hawkridge’s beak. But the Lincolnman’s cynical delayed reaction has probably saved the Burnley man.

For me it was the other incident. The striker Rhead was in the box, Barton stamped on his foot, then moved his head towards Rhead's arm (still not convinced there was contact) and went down rolling and clutching his face.

Completely agree, would loathe it if Derby ever signed this guy. He's been a pathetic thug everywhere he has been. That's a new low though, diving to try get a non league player sent off.
