ramsbottom Posted August 16, 2016 Share Posted August 16, 2016 Big Nige's Barmy Army 0 - Preston 2 fgs - Backford They'll pounce on our lack of confidence and put us under pressure from the off, we'll weather the storm and after 20 minutes play some decent stuff, only to be hit with a sucker punch goal on the half hour mark. Cue lots of booing come half time. We start the 2nd half like a bat out of hell and be camped in their half and hit 7 consecutive corners into the first man. The crowd will get edgy, moan at every misplaced pass, the lad's confidence will slip away, as will the game when a long ball on the 85th minutes isn't dealt with by Shackell and they end up with an easy 1 on 1. On the final whistle Big Nige offers out the entire away stand who **** themselves, apologise for booing and skulk off into the late summer night...
