And although Forsyth has only a slightly better record for goals his crossing is much better. He's also immense in defence. I'm not sure why it's even a discussion. ITSD
From the pre-season lineups etc. I got the impression that Pearson was keen on Forsyth, so I think it'd be odd for him to go. I wouldn't sell if I was in charge.

Leicester Ram
Craig Forsyth will finish his career at Derby County with the club and world record for most successful low crosses in a season (419).
Derbyram1983
Why sell him? He could play left mid in front of Olson in a 442. This way we have balance attacking and defending. Once can play behind the striker. Maybe russell rm

Derby blood
Fozzy, is one of the best left backs in this league, we would be mad to sell, also I think Fozzy could make it in the premiership, think he will be first choice left back for Derby, I rate him very highly, best left back we have had since Chris Powell. Comrade 86
£500k? £500 *******k. What are they smoking up there? Olsson and. Fozzy will both be needed this season. Until Lowe shows he's absolutely ready to play first team football, selling either would be bonkers.

By far more efficient and threatening in terms of attack (only Ince played more key passes per 90 minutes for Derby all season) than Olsson. No-brainer for me, Forsyth is our first choice and should remain so. I recall doing a post earlier in this thread comparing pre-injury Fozzy to Olsson and pretty much all of the stats backed up the opinion that Fozzy is the better left back. £1.5 million would be ridiculously cheap for our best left back, let alone £500,000! Keep him and let him show why he's one of the best left backs in the league. We missed him so much last season, even after Olsson arrived in January. tomsdubs
Those stats just back up what I said about the attacking. Crazy to sell Fozzy IMO. I don't care if Olsson was an attacking mid in a crap league once, Fozzy is way more effective.
DCFC1388
So fulham in for him now but 1m not enough. Either his agent is trying to get him a new deal so touting him to other clubs or we actually want to sell. Maybe Pearson is happy with Olsson Lowe and Baird as LB options, or maybe De Laet is lined up as LB/RB option. Cant see Forsyth being happy on the bench nor would Olsson, we have struggled for a top quality LB for years and now we have 2, one wont be happy to miss out. If Forsyth was sold to go with the Albentosa + Shotton money to buy Chester and get De Laet on loan, would people be happy with that? I would be and I have always rated Forsyth.
