duncanjwitham
I missed the interview but twice I've heard Radio Derby say "up to" 2 weeks which would suggest maximum of 2 weeks rather than minimum Edit - 3 times now

Smyth_18
Not at all I said he didn't look fully fit in u21s before Sheffield Wed. Same thing happened to Coutts ie secondary injury.
StringerBell
Simmo says something like "the likelihood is he'll miss the next few games". To me, that says he'll probably miss these next 3 games, we've then got a week off before Norwich and 'Boro, so he has a decent chance of being fit for those 2. Curtains
End of the day the player needs protecting but hope he's back sooner rather than later .
TimRam
Might have rested him more in fairness. Bad choice from the staff but we learn from it. And I'm sure Omar will be fired up to show he can keep Thorne out even when he comes back. Could be worse.
nfb
Ok m8 I hope he gets back soon but also hope Omar does alright as he looked a bit off it Tuesday when he came on . Think the Thorne thing has affected Omar a bit though .
CheltenhamRam
Behave, the medical team and GT himself considered him fit to return to match situations. Just bad luck, absolutely nothing more. Players who have had these types of injuries are usually super, super cautious when returning.
Dr. Gonzo
whens eustace back. i'm abit worried having omar in there for a few games too many. prancing round today, spread it left, skip slowly after it but keep central, spray it right, then skip slowly after it BUT KEEP CENTRAL. play it forward, skip backwards because the opposition are on the attack again. woof, GT must be having kittens watching that
Alph
Agree. And you can't create the intensity of a match in training or U21's for him. He was ready.
Boycie
Well, I'm pissed off with it, they've been bigging him up on ramsplayer all week and he even said himself he wasn't injured after Tuesday when asked by Gibbo.simmo now says it was Tuesday?are we all mugs? robster1
We were top & in autos for most of the season without him so we can stay there without him.Two weeks, he'll miss three games. Assess him, have him on the bench at least for Norwich. Start against Boro. It'll be fine.
TroyDyer
It's hard to say we really missed someone who we haven't had all season, but we really missed him yesterday.

Wolfie20
I think we miss it anytime Mascerell plays.Thorne gives us that extra bit, with his demanding of the ball and his forward passes. But Eustace or indeed half the bruising central midfielders in the division could do a job for us in the holding role.Ive just run out of patience with Mascerell, he dives into challenges, and lets players run past him like an unfit amateur would.Id even go as far as to say he is a liability and withall out defeats this season, it would be very interesting to see if these defeats would have different results had we had a player who was physcial enough to actually play that position. For all the people grumbling about Forsyth, and how they want him subbed because he plays a few misplaced passes. At least Fozzys play doesnt have a direct impact on the result. Id even rather see warnock or shotton play in the CD position now. Please please please macca address this. If we only make the play offs again, this will be the single reason why!
