Ah, okay.

 

Another footballers basic problem. Thanks for clearing it out. As foot is just bone, nerves and ligaments, there doesn't need to be much wrong to cause nerve problems. Been there, doing it still.

Well exactly, the feet being at the bottom of quite a hefty frame, any slight discomfort or imbalance can make a huge difference to the whole body. No point having a "wall" if he's not built on solid foundations.

My very much better half has mobility problems.

Her orthotic consultant fitted her for orthotic insoles which help her to stand much straighter.

She had to get a mould made and a computer made the insoles from a special type of rubber.

I am a bit surprised that Raul wasn't wearing them when he was kidnapped. Most people wear them in any kind of footwear. Unlike hearing aids, dentures,?............

It's not as if he can't walk, run and sprint fine without the insoles. It's just over the period of a week or two he's going to start feeling the twinges in his back and legs from the imbalance.

Can't we just get him a pair of stilettos?
