He wouldn't have been in the starting eleven tomorrow anyway - too risky when he hasn't had a full game yet and better to have Bucko + Keogh who know each other's play for such an important game.

 

Still some folk need something to moan about (  all the time  .. even when it gets really boring).

Don't think the OP was moaning so that's a little unfair.

 

Any nerve damage can be a worry, especially when it is effecting more than one part of the body.

Maybe he was just showing some concern for the well being of one of our players?

I wonder if he wasn't going to play anyway and this story covers him rather than him just being left out? Once he's played well in the cup and got into the team it will all be forgotten?

Maybe - certainly the management team like to ease players in - especially from abroad (Mr Ince excepted).
