He's going to be the difference.

We have a horrible run of fixtures starting in mid-March: Norwich (A) Boro (H) Wolves (A) Watford (H) Wigan (A) Brentford (H)

Having Thorne back and starring in these fixtures is what will win us promotion.

I reckon we could get 13 out of that.

On the contrast out six games immediately before those six are: Rovrum (A) Sheff Wed (H) Charlton (H) Fulham (A) Brighton (A) Birmingham (H)

Then our last four games are: Blackpool (H) Huddersfield (A) Millwall (A) and Reading (H)

You'd be forgiven for thinking that if we're top two after Brentford at home then we really should be a PL side next season.

Welcome back to training George. Shift an U21 game to IPro and get a great turnout to welcome him back for his first run out for 20 mins when he is ready. I am so pleased that he has got this far. For me, the target is to be fit and confident in his knee for next year. introduce him to the crowd at the Forest game or get him on the commentary team. Make he feel like he is massively wanted.

Wasn't a 500 page thread enough?

I agree with the people who say they don't want him rushed back, but that is never going to happen. We are joint top without him, he visits a specialist regularly who would say if he wasn't ready and the management would never put a player at risk like that who has just come back from a serious injury. Look at Wardy, he was a key player before he got injured, he is pretty much fit now but he could possibly have played weeks ago, however they decided that they didn't want to risk it.

Basically what im saying is Thorne will be back on the pitch when his knee is 100% better.

There are levels of being "better"

Chance of re-occurrence is greater when fatigued ...ie has been written on here before after circa 60minutes. He can be fixed, recovered. However it is the challenge to prevent a re-occurrence. At least we will know by end of April how muchGT has been able to play

Horrible...? These matches will seal our promotion after 6 wins in a row.... :)
