Agreed, Cook should never have been dropped ;)

Our bowling has been atrocious for months now and they continue to let the captain down and heap pressure on him. I'm not at all surprised there was no upturn in fortunes at all from simply replacing Cook as captain.

We really should've had a good shot defending that total yet we repeatedly banged it in half way down and got taken to the cleaners. The form of Anderson and Broad in particular is a huge concern,  Finn has always been somewhat erratic. Most concerning though is that I'd struggle to suggest who we could actually bring in to replace any of the misfiring quicks either short or long term,  troubling times again...

So 276 needed to stay in the competition , its about a par score for us .

One of the biggest reasons why we do not score huge totals is we have too many dot balls, just see when we hit a boundary from the first ball of an over , it will then go  4 - - - 1 - .
