Nearly bought a tear to my eye All in all I've never believed he was a great player, but if he came here then I would wholeheartedly cheer him on and wish him the best in proving me horrendously wrong! Haha, in all honesty he is a player I've rated for a long time. He's quick, strong and his technique is top level. Add to the fact he is good at set pieces and can play in a number of midfield positions, including central midfield and wide-forward then I think he'd be ideal within reason. Last season, in a poor Bolton side, he had 12 assists and 12 goals. But, anyway this is about James McClean - anyone know Sunderland's thoughts on him? McClean certainly fits that description but I just don't think it will happen. Wigan will be strong next year I think, and McClean doesn't seem to fit the 'team' ethos we have.
