There's only two of us, so I'm doing a tenderloin pork fillet, stuffed with apple, black pudding and sage derby, with roasted root vegetables. Not decided on pudding yet. Half pork sausagement, half stuffing with a melted Brie and cranberry filling. Not sure what sauce to do with it. My lad doesn't like mustard, so maybe a cider cream sauce. My lad doesn't like mustard, so maybe a cider cream sauce.It's often good to compliment a main ingredient when it comes to sauces, so maybe a slightly sweeter cranberry sauce? Then again, cider and pork is classic, but don't think I've had it with brie & cranberries. Our resident Chef Frogggy might know though. Honey Roast Ham Swedish Meatballs Sill ( smelly pickled fish..mmm...lovely) Senap ( mustard) spuds Beetroot Salads Eggs and Kaviar Potato and Vasterbottens Cheese Grattan Knacker Bread Fresh Smoked Salmon And Mrs Stockholm and in laws do a whole array of fancy cakes, breads and puds for desert. England... Roast Turkey stuffed with onions, sage and orange. Roast Spuds in goose fat. ( UK export brought over by my family. Forget to bring it and you will be flying back to Birmingham Airport to fetch it!) Brussel Sprouts and Smokey bacon cooked in herb butter. Honey Roast parsnips Bread sauce Stuffing balls ( sage and onion) Calliflour Grattan with cheddar. Groovey Christmas gravy Stockholm Rams world famous and much requested cranberry and apple sauce ( recipe and cooking instructions supplied on request) And trad Christmas pudding and/ or Sherry Triffle.
