MrsRam
what's your recipe? I usually use frozen peas if I don't use the 'soaked' ones, cooked, nob of butter, drop of milk (some folk use cream but I'm watching the waistline) mash up with a potato masher - I don't like them too smooth. I'm not one for staying in the kitchen all Christmas day, got better things to do. Cooking is a necessity for me not really a pleasure. Food always tastes much nicer when someone else has cooked it. smiffy
I will let you know what I had for my Christmas dinner on boxing day, when I have asked the sister in law what I had, I will not know at the time because I will be pi ssed.
froggg
It'll be a carvery for the 12 or so we're expecting, goose, lamb and roast pork, meat juice gravy to die for, goose fat roasties, horseradish mash with swede, all the usual veg, followed by home made xmas pudding ice cream, all washed down with all sorts of weird and wonderful booze. http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/78600/christmas-pudding-ice-cream This will do nicely
