You know Rangers STILL have a larger wage budget than us - I was surprised to find out, probably still the second highest in scotland in all honesty. Does anyone think we might be looking at playing three CBs in a 5-3-2? Or maybe McLaren wants 4 centrebacks in his team like most of the managers? Let's face it the majority on here would be laughing if he signed for Forest, yet he is a good signing for us. None of us will have seen him play, bit part player for Lithuania and proclaims that he chose Hearts over Man Utd, has a bad reputation and is exactly the sort of player I'd prefer not to sign. We will see though, for me I'm cautious - he has been out of football since the summer, and 1/4 into the season still without a club. I didn't see which far flung place have our networks and contacts now at the club scouted him from? And I wonder if Sam's wowed enough. Hopefully.
