Rich3478 Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 If not signing anyone else means keeping Hughes then I'm all for it. Surely our purse strings can be loosened a little now though. Realistically we have almost a guaranteed £10m coming in to the club. I'd hope when Hughes moves on that we keep him on loan, if that is January then for the rest of the season a la zaha or if next summer then the full season afterwards. Basically they asked him about the £6m valuation and Clough explained that we'd require a lot more than that. Cracking DM, decent pace and distribution but has the defending and work rates to hold better than counterparts such as Ramires. Not that I'm a total sad case or anything.
