Makes me think back to Charlton away when it all began

Great away trip with the last minute equaliser by Ellington

Well deserved Nick, the word is thrown around a lot these days, but you are a genuine legend, well played.

Always love a midweek London trip!

Yeah seems like ages ago that!! Wish I were mate but thanks for the thought!

Is safe standing what a goalkeeper experiences in front of a Conor Sammon penalty?

The goalie might, but may I remind you that my ST is in Row X in the North Stand, therefore I am right in the firing line.

Back on topic, best wishes, Nick.

My very best wishes too. I hope you win and that the Club gives you and your campaign the backing it deserves.

One of the worse games I have ever witnessed, game delayed because the Derby team bus was stuck in London rush hour traffic(even might of got a police escort) Charlton hadn't won a game in ages (Club record), Zadkovich missed a open goal.

Hey , Nick, well done by the way, just pipped me to the award, no hard feelings though,

Anyway,

What happened to the "class of 72" banner?

Cheers Boycie...

Basically one of the lads who majorly funded the purchase, we are just talking shy of 4 figures here, put it in the wash to clean as was in desperate need.... It then faded the image so looked awful after that...

Was a class flag!

All I can say is thank god Glick has gone, otherwise our striker budget would be spent on a statue for Nick this summer!!

Jokes aside, well done Nick... Flag and safe standing aside, oh, and not to mention trying to galvanize the Derby fans into a bit of noise too... also, travelling to every game no matter where and when... you're a good representative of the club and a nice guy, also I saw (on twitter) that you had a bit of misfortune with your job (was a while back) and you still kept up appearances which seemed incredible to me... so with the deepest of respects, congratulations on the nomination... and I hope you DO win it, and couldn't think of what anyone else COULD have done to better you, just seems impossible to me - unless he carried the rest of the fans on his back and walked to every game, I predict you'll win!
