Was Jewell ever 'in charge'? I'm not sure he was even in charge of his own mind.

don't know about "in charge" - it was his "discharge" that left a nasty taste, so to speak 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Speak for yourself 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Apart from the end-of-his-tether look on his face, the abiding image of the man is that one..well, it's too hideous to describe and there may be younger, more delicate readers present.

a jason kavanagh type player as a midfield destroyer? that has to be the most bizarre comment since Peter Taylor told Dave Watson to get stripped and replace Bobby Davison when we were chasing the game against plymouth all those years ago......

On topic; hopefully Bennett, Lelan, Kwane Thomas and Morch will find a club on loan - even if it's just Matlock like Kane Richards earlier this season.

Out of interest mate, what do you think of Lelan, Thomas and Richards from what you've seen? Subman is good with the ressies and unders but haven't seen him on here for a while... Thanks!

welcome Igorwasking - if only because you have dared to say that WILL doesn't fit into our side !! And that rebuilding a side round him will take too long ( - and be too risky since he will move on before it is complete.).

I am far too old and female to dare to say this publicly. I just winge on about it to my son....................... .and get my fingers rapped !

The range of options tried at centre half since the willing but limited Buckenbauer got injured would suggest that unless OB can get himself fit, strong and ready to play the second half of the season, we need to sign a grizzled centre half; preferrably a big one with a homicidal streak. If the spirit of the late and lamented Rob Hindmarch can find its way into some nearly out of contract defender with top flight experience and realistic wage demands I'd be delighted.

I'll stick my neck out that if anyone significant leaves, it'll be Theo if we get a big bid or Tys if we get any bid.

I'm always amused by posters blithely saying 'oh I'd sell him and him to buy him'. Other clubs have to buy them. It's not just up to us. We have very little control over which of our players clubs bid for. I'm sure NC would welcome bids for Bailey, Bavies and Tyson over the window. Our ability to buy or loan players will be a secondary reaction to a sale. In short, don't expect much movement.
