Guest
He was a US international wasn't he? He made his debut for USA 3 months before he signed for us, so not a regular or made the required apps going by the criteria you put, I don't think? davenportram
There is a caveat that you can argue the player will have a potentially significant impact or along those lines Might even be a hangover from playing in Europe for Hamburg before he joined us. Boycie
obviously I dont know what the hell I'm talking about. He was born in Brazil, which explains his talent, and moved to the US of A aged 6. His grand father was Austrian.

CloughIsBoring
Four Rapids players to train with Derby County in December The Colorado Rapids announced on Wednesday that Andre Akpan, Tony Cascio, Chris Klute and Martín Rivero will train with English Football League Championship club Derby County from December 3-12. The four players will train at Derby, a 128-year-old club currently in the second tier of English soccer, under the direction of manager Nigel Clough. I would say sign this Chris Klute guy. He looks like a decent left-back. Pacey, powerfull, attacking defender. Still 22. Former Rams Commercial Operations boss Tom Hinchley mentions this as a move to get these players some experience. He does mention us in a good light and suggests our club have "strong links" with the Rapids.

Even if it's not a trial, I'm sure Clough and co will keep half an eye on these guys on the off chance there's any quality there.

ripleyram88
I follow MLS closely. Klute has only just signed for Rapids, that was his debut in that video, he's rated highly but I dont think he will be moving anywhere soon. It's rivero we should be looking at. Won their Young player of the year award. Scored twice, made 8 assists. Only 22. He plays through the middle of midfield. Though hes only on loan at Colorado, he's played a lot of games for his parent club Rosario.

Dan_Ram
Watched a couple of the highlights on their website and Rivero looks a class above, lots of flair and creativity which is what we've been missing since Baiano/Eranio.

Take into account the level he is playing against, but I would be welcome to see any player with any sort of ability given ago. I'm sure they would jump at the chance of coming here.
