  1. It’s a shambles at the moment, I’ve stopped going as sadly lesson planning for my students is  a more enthusiastic task then entering pride park at the moment. we are a joke at the moment and I can’t see much exciting happening, the results are inconsistent, the atmosphere at pride park is dead and the relationship between the fans and the club is slowly cracking. At the end of the day he has a four year deal. If I was Clowes I’d really be considering his position because it’s not just a blasé decision of replace the manager , I can see the attendances dropping off especially now a lot of the rearranged fixtures are midweek. Personally I’d give him 10-15 games to sort it out if we are 10 points of the playoffs he’s gone

Personally I’d like us to be competitive I don’t assume we’ll storm the league but where we currently are heading into October is not good enough. I’ll reiterate my view is if by January we are not at least with a point or two of the play offs then he’ll have to go. I like Warne he talks well but I think personally his oratory skills vastly outweigh his tactically prowess. For me to change my mind he needs to understand the squad better , play players in their most productive positions (even if it means a deviation from his favoured 3-5-2), be competitive against the top teams and show confidence against the so called “weaker” teams.

  4. Was listening to the Rams podcast where the focus was about the atmosphere at Pride Park. It was suggested the atmosphere was flat due to unrealistic expectation and fan arrogance in league one. Personally I think the atmosphere has been awful for years. I remember when I first started watching derby I vividly remember a far better match day experience (03/04) with a drummer in the north stand for corners and free kicks. Plus Steve Bloomer’s watching is far too fast and large chunks are skipped out so fans are all over the place when it’s played, that awful spoken word poem doesn’t create much atmosphere and the “in our DNA youth” is just a bit embarrassing.

what’s everyone’s thoughts about the atmosphere and how could it be improved?

I look forward to Paul Warne saying so much without saying nothing in the post match interview.

    Dropped possibly - psychology ?
which would be worrying if his heads not in it he’s got until January at least

Haven’t you contradicted yourself there? You don’t give a toss about cheating but you’d love to see such behaviour eradicated.

It would be a very sad day in my mind if everyone stopped caring about cheating in football. It’s the biggest blight on the modern game as far as I’m concerned and I wish it could be stamped out. If I had my way, video evidence would be used to penalise players (yes, Derby players as much as anyone else’s) after the game when they have blatantly faked an injury in an attempt to have another player booked or sent off. The Wildsmith incident was a classic example. I hate time wasting but accept it’s become an almost acceptable part of the game. Wildsmith could easily have delayed the restart by claiming/faking cramp or something without resorting to the theatrics of pretending he had been struck on the head.

It’s more the argument that it doesn’t look like it’s going to removed and everyone uses it against us so although I would try to avoid it if it can be effective for others why not us

It's not being smart, it's not professionalism, it's cheating.

Playing fair and succeeding can well go together.  If Warne needs to rely on players faking injuries to win games, that is not a flattering reflection of his managerial skills.  i trust that Warne is ambitious and self confident enough to stamp out this kind of tomfoolery.

  8. To be honest I know this wouldn’t be great but if accept £1.5-2m  + a huge sell on like 50%

knowing brightons development of players you could be looking at a potential future sale of say £10-20m
