It needs sorting, looks absolutely dreadful at the moment. Not that we actually play on the grass anyway, so it’s not affecting our performances - but it’s pretty embarrassing for a club of our stature to have a pitch in that state.

Groundsmen need to sort it out, and funds need to be in place to make it happen. We’re a professional outfit, not a Sunday league pub team.

It’s ok a bucket of green paint and it will look fine 👍

collins has won me over this season with his goals and work rate,i just wish he would stick to his task in the box,  keep off of the wings lookin for the ball, and cut out the needless fouls and offsides,

Plus the desire to take throw ins 🤦‍♂️😂

Even something you have read…just to give us all some hope 😊

Sadly folks, the news I’m hearing isn’t great. With Wednesday dragging their heels, don’t expect any new players in.

also I’m hearing Max has rejected a new contract.

    The EFL and Quantuma, presumably.

It’s no coincidence that the pair in Quantuma were investigated for fraud when handling Portsmouth’s admin.

  6. In some aspects no we are in the top 6 in other ways , yes he does: tactically inept, stubborn, poor formation where the CMs might as well stay at home.

this season I think will either go two ways

3rd - after a poor January, average feb and a good March to May

8th - we totally capitulate after no more January signings, injuries galore and a dire three months. Resulting in Warne calling it a failure that is my responsibility, being dejected and handing in his resignation.

I don't want him to be sacked, but I would not be unhappy if he walked tomorrow and we got someone else in. He's doing well enough to be given a crack to the end of the season, if not longer.

The signing of CBT has again underlined the difficult situation he's been faced with. Not being allowed to spend money on players, unless we exploit some weird loan loophole.

But would another manager have got more out of this squad by now? Or last season? I think so. But that's not to say I don't support him and the team.

Tbh I’d take Warnock’s “ I’d f*****g die for three points” approach he’d get us over the line

  8. I wanted to discuss this topic because I’m really not sure about us after last night. Has the age , training and inability to sign younger players caught us up or do you think we have players who don’t have the right mentality when the pressure mounts?

Ducking disappointing, I do believe there’s a bottle or mindset issue with this squad ( like so many over the years even our Steve Mac couldn’t escape it ,

extremely poor tonight but I’m gonna pull this why don’t we play through the middle stuff ,,,,,, apart from the odd game we cannot play a simple pass and that’s players not anyone in the dug out ,

Also we seem to be between two stalls at the moment , playing out from the back or getting it forward quick ,, we are back to this thing where we set up with our keeper having two defenders either side of him on the six yard line and pass to them and playing suicide passes to cashin under massive pressure to not lose the ball let alone do anything with it ,,, no wonder he s starting to look like a rabbit in the headlights through his whole game 🤷🏻‍♂️,

tjj was just so so so predictable, few games to earn the extra 6 months couple of games and then out for the season may not be his fault but that matters not ,,, why do we keep repeating this stupid costly mistake with players , it’s beyond me,

on to Saturday, will be there but a bit deflated , been derby d again

    I’ve often wondered that.
derby appear to be the club version of the national team.  I honestly don’t know what managers are telling the players when under a bit of pressure but it appears either putting so much pressure on them or either the opposite not enough

I think a midfielder who can score goals and be creative and be very influential is the signing that would take us to another level

This is where I'd be spending our money , I really don't like how teams seem to go straight through a non existent centre midfield at times

but playing 3 rather than 2 in there would help a CM who could chip in with 8-10 goals a season would be brilliant

Hourihane has that potential I’d push him as a 10

From my source it’s estimated across both transfer pots is roughly £1m

    £300k from loan pot = £200k left

    £200k loan fee

    £500k transfer fee

It’s expected that derby will either return with an improved loan fee for smith - Wednesday apparently want obligation to buy Derby aren’t interested in this

as for alternatives Warne Is keen on a couple of prem loans.

Moxon is still a target as is Arblaster a new name being talked about is Daniel Crowley at Notts apparently recommended by Mcgolderick

But this is flexible but that’s why we have to be really resourceful. Say we bought Moxon for £400k that’s 100k left plus 200k in loans that potentially could be either 300k loan fee or £400 k for wages for a brilliant out of contract player
