Don’t really buy into the criticism aimed at Ashley if he’s trying to get club a bit cheaper 
we as fans of course just want it bought out and we are biased as we want this sorted of course we do  but there is not one person on here who would not take an oppurtunity to get something cheaper if they could we all would 
this I think is where the problem lies …results on the pitch have dipped and whereas survival looked a possibility a few weeks ago it looks less likely now …this is where we as fans come in …it’s been a difficult slog of a season and we’ve showed fantastic support but I think Rooney and our boys need us more than ever now ….a couple of wins and we’re back in the race and things will change again …
the price has bound to have dipped since the chance of relegation has risen and to blame a potential buyer that he’s trying to maybe get it cheaper is not really a surprise as if it is Ashley this is why he’s a successful businessman and we’d never have been in this mess with him at the helm
You can’t always have it all ways …as much as I’d like someone to buy us for top price that wasn’t going to happen with recent results so let’s get behind the boys with even more vigour although work stops me attending tonight 
if our preferred bidder is Ashley the time to criticise him is when he’s steering the ship not now and it’s not reflective of how he would run the club imo ….if he thinks he can get it cheaper he will and that’s no different to myself and everyone on this forum when buying goods so let’s wait and see what happens 
what is imperative and what we can influence is our chances of a remarkable escape which in turn I think will help the sale 
Wayne Rooney has done a Sterling job and kept spirits up when all has been carnage off of the pitch and for the first time I’m seeing a slightly dejected demeanour and now is the time to really raise the roof ans get behind WR and these young lads and older players like Curtis who have been brilliant …I still think Ashley will end up with our club and how he runs it will be a separate issue but for now let’s get behind the boys with even more tenacity because they need a lift

They way things have been run (debts), we should be grateful if anybody takes it now.

I think what is coming through now is just how effective in a negative sense has Gibson's spurious claim been.The delay caused by the claim and the way the EFL dealt with it (not) has meant that as each week has past the value of the Club has got less.
I genuinely believe that the Administrators thought they had a deal at Christmas only for it to be scuppered by the EFL effectively not having to comply with English Law.
Likewise something must have changed significantly  in the last 10 days, most probably Ashley reducing his bid.
We may well carry on until the end of the season in a playing sense but we will still be under an embargo and will almost certainly lose all of the non contracted players and youngsters. 
So we may not be liquidated but as good as - starting from scratch and on -15 points.
What a mess !!!
 

It’s because whichever way you look at Mel has left Quantuma a steaming turd to deal with, or they have agreed to take on a steaming turd and maybe should have been less optimistic in their initial communications. Either way it’s still a steaming turd. 
The debts are way in excess of what the club is worth. If we took the attitude you can’t offer what’s needed walk away we would be liquidated.
We don’t have a lifelong Derby fan billionaire waiting in the wings to buy the club at whatever price. Clearly people want to buy the club as they recognise it’s potential but they are not going to pay over the odds. As a result negotiations like this will happen and they will be protracted and if Mike Ashley has positioned himself as the front runner then he will pull every stunt possible to drive the price down, he will not care about a -15 point deduction, he might think by providing the right backing we could overcome that and he’d rather do that than pay over the odds to service debts that are not his.
Its frustrating but not unexpected and backs up everything the Athletic journalist Matt Slater has said for months about how dire our situation is.
But the EFL won’t kick us out the league providing we have funds to continue which is in admins control and we have bidders in play.

Worst case scenario is we finish the season then go bust. If it’s going to happen I’d rather it happen now so we can ruin the integrity of the league as a big send off.

End of season liquidation is coming. Not before then. The administrators look like they are dragging their feet now.

I think we’ll be just shy of 40 points come the end of the season. Hopefully Ince lives up to his reputation, we need them to go on another shocker. Yesterday was a poor result for them. Barnsley too. We need big favours to stay up now.

Even if we lose tonight it’s not over. If Reading go on a run now (they are capable as on paper they have the best squad in the whole bottom half) then it’s going to make it difficult. There is serious potential for Hull to do what Derby did last season and be sucked into it. We have to keep winning games and picking up points. We were starting to think less than 40 points will be enough, I think with Reading winning two on the bounce it changes that complexion slightly and we’ll need a few more, still don’t think we’ll need more than the 44 last season. That’s 23 from 14 games. Difficult but not impossible and we may not even need that many.
The embargoes and points deductions were designed to relegate us. We are not meant to survive, we shouldn’t survive but here we are approaching March with a chance which is incredible. The players and coaching staff are fighting to the end, we as fans also need to fight to the end and that means staying with them until it’s no longer possible, and believing we can do it not throwing in the towel at results that don’t go our way that we cannot control.

I see no one pointed out to him in his last TV interview that he says obviously a lot ?
Seems like a very level headed lad..keeps working, waiting for his opportunity..

Between him and Morrison I think we will have enough without Lawrence. 

Louise deserves a run in the team now, especially with Lawrence suspended. He should be one of the first names on the team sheet on Wednesday imo. 

Strip Lawrence of the captaincy after that, give it to Curtis.

Just need to be patient and be a bit more incisive and speed up the passing, it's a difficult pitch but we will win this.
