In the phase of predictions/projections for the forthcoming season - I have found something surprising with regards to Oxford.
Des Buckingham was the manager for their last 30 league games and I wanted to see how it measured up to us in the same timeframe.
Oxford were the 13th best team in League One in that spell: 44pts, 50 goals scored, 41 conceded: +9 GD.
We were the best team in League One in that spell: 68pts, 52 goals scored, 18 conceded: +32 GD.
I know they've made some smart signings in the window and given themselves a chance, but surprised to see there was such a disparity. Portsmouth were quite a fair way back from us too: 59pts, 50 goals scored, 31 conceded: +19 GD. They were the second best team in the league, though, which shows (how s*** our start was) but ultimately how dominant we were for the final two-thirds of the season.

I think everyone knows Thompson’s time will come, but he’s not old enough to buy a beer yet. If we can get him in men’s football, playing regularly that will benefit his career far more than being on a coach and sitting in the stands.
The goalkeeper position is a precarious one, one or two mistakes and your card is marked. If we had to throw a 17 year old in goal Friday night, in a big game, where he makes a mistake. Hard coming back from that, even at a young age.

Keeping on trend, if Zetterstrom signs for someone else which Ikea are we rioting at?

I do suspect there will be still some substantial business between now and the end of the window, so I'm not jumping the gun. It seems like most of the Championship is going into the season undercooked so I think there will be a lot of business to come on the whole.

I don't disagree, but do know that Blackburn were one of the worst at defending set-pieces last season and Cashin does tend to find himself in a favourable matchup due to his strength in the air, but ultimate smaller size. We will need him to hit the target but we will get a few chances through set-pieces on Friday.

This is usually the case, although due to the spending power the top clubs in the division tend to have excellent strikers - Haji Wright is lightening and a good footballer by all accounts. It’s not common, certainly at the bottom end of the division. I think every team believes they’re lacking a goalscorer, apart from Coventry and maybe Leeds.

If you look on the fixtures on the main website, they do give an insight into what games are viewable via RamsTV:

No idea what 'unsold markets' mean, though?

I suspected he would be on our radar, not well liked at Luton and could come available later on down the line. I think Luton are still finding it tough in the market considering their parachute payments are being exploited by selling clubs. Cardiff quoted £10m for Mark McGuinness, for example.

Let’s give the kid a chance, eh? In all likelihood he never plays, but he must’ve shown some promise in training to earn a deal.

I have slightly more faith in Dobbin than Osula, at least he had some technical ability but his end product, even for a simple pass, was never certain. It depends on how WBA plan on using him, but he definitely has his uses to stretch play and you could never fault his work ethic. Ultimately he was a good pro and wish him well.

I think Ozoh is more of an all-round midfield player to be honest. Adams at his best is when he's pressing, cleaning-up and winning the ball back. Ozoh is more of a complete midfield so I think they would both play at the same time - especially away from home.

Think he wanted a centre back with pace, though? Soutter is a good player, but not exactly the profile we’re after and would’ve cost a fair wedge.

I have to assume it's something to do with Luton not wanting him at a Championship team, which seems odd. For my money, talent-wise, the best striker who played in League One last season.
As for Washington, it doesn't sound like he's cost us a great deal and for the games where he looked somewhat fit then I think he looked ok. It's just he's barely been fit - similar to Elder and CBT. I think Washington is at the point now where he's very much on the outside looking in and I don't see any way that he gets a lot of minutes next season. I suspect that he moves on before the end of the window once we have our house in order.

I would say that in theory is pretty much the blueprint of what Warne wants out of his football team. He's fairly relaxed with players 'having a go' and playing the more riskier passes - unfortunately the talent level means they're more unlikely to come off and in turn can look a bit disjointed.
In his first season here, we played in such a cavalier way that we were often the team done on the counter and recklessly got players forward against better judgement. I felt he found a balance to that last season and that resulted in us having the best goal difference in the league.
