Not that it matters but that isn’t a penalty or a sending off - yet another appalling decision from a ref.
Wonder if he will apologise at full time ?

Maybe so but I think even if we get in the playoffs this team goes out in the semis to be fair. The other 3 are better equipped with squads put together over more than 3 weeks and strengthened well in January

Are you suggesting that both the FA and the EFL are conspiring against us?

Gutted for Curtis, been a great servant but that was poor judgement should have put his foot through the ball and cleared it into the stand.

Curtis' last ever game for us and he does that. No idea why he's trying to be clever, you are a rubbish footballer who's good at heading, stop trying to be a ball playing centre half.

If it’s 0-0 with 10 mins to go on Sunday, I will be expecting Wildsmith to drop like a stone every time he gets his hands on the ball. The Wendies fans can Boo all they want.

Best way to clamp down on time wasting - as they did in the World Cup - is to add proper extra time. But that’s not the ref’s responsibility

Sad to say but I think the female refs get an easier ride from the players.  So to speak

    It's not just time wasting.
Players going down injured isn't time wasting, as it gers added on. What it does is breaks momentum both in terns of play and atmosphere.
It also allows reorganisation, rest and refreshment.
Time wasting is taking too long at throw ins and goal kicks etc.

I ref at a low level (senior county) but work with refs at a higher level and it's hard enough, getting things spot on every time at the speed of something like the Championship or L1 is impossible. That's why I always supported the introduction of VAR (yes, I know, but it's not the technology that's the problem).
Atwell is a funny one. No Derby fan will forgive him for Miles Addison while no fans of other teams will forget the "ghost" goals. Yet if we can count on one hand the terrible mistakes, we'd need a lot more fingers to count the perfectly decent games he's had. He's actually a decent referee who has also benefited in a sector where there isn't a huge amount of competition. As humans, we all make mistakes at work and get things wrong, we don't expect to be sacked for the first or even second one.
The standard of refereeing in L1 has been a disappointment, so much so that when we get a good ref it makes headlines on here. And you may be perfectly right when you say the odd ref might want to stick two fingers up and be the centre of attention by awarding a controversial for the decision just for the sake of it.
But broadly I'd prefer to think that in the heat of the moment and in the speed of the game (which may not seem so in the stands but is lightning fast on the pitch) they give it as they see it (rightly or wrongly) as opposed to being deliberately provocative by giving incorrect decisions. And because they're not a great standard (part time, not as much training as professional refs) yet we still hold them to the same account through the use of TV and slo-mo to professional PL and Champ refs, poor decisions are magnified.
I think the bigger clubs make more noise because for them a) it's more important to them and b) they are used to better at a higher level.

Sorry, but I have to call this out. As a referee and someone who knows how observers work, nothing could be further from the truth. They are judged on getting the decisions right, nothing more. The size of crowd, hostility etc has nothing whatsoever to do with it. Give an incorrect penalty "against Derby in front of 30k at Pride Park or sending a Wednesday player off in front of 20k at Hillsborough" and you'll be marked down, simple as that.
There's only one way to show how adept they at "dealing with hostile crowds/situations & deserving of higher profile fixtures", and that's managing the players, managing the game and getting the decisions correct. Nothing more. I know your opinion feeds into the ridiculous conspiracy that someone everyone is against us, but I'm afraid it's just incorrect.

    If we draw...
    We'll end up on 77pts.
Posh will then need to win, to equal 77pts.
The next factor is goal difference,
We're currently on +22, which obviously won't change with a draw.
Posh currently on +19, so will need to win by 3 clear goals to match our +22.
A lesser win (for Posh) than that will see us go through on GD.
A win (for Posh) by 4 or more will see them go through with a better GD.
A 3 goal win (for Posh) will see us level on GD, and the next deciding factor is goals scored.  Should this happen, realistically, Posh will go through as we have currently scored 67, and they have scored 73 (plus whatever they score in the final win).
However, if they win 0-3 (taking their GD to +22, and scored 76) and we draw 10-10 (leaving us on +22, but now scored 77... then it starts to get really messy... but in a filthy, perverted, and somewhat erotic kind o' way!
