Yes I agree with you Eddie that batting was our strength last season and our curse with overseas bowlers doesn’t help, I would just like a little better balance with the wicket it doesn’t have to be like Notts wicket in the 80’s where the game was done in 5 sessions. Zak Chappell as also been added to the attack, I was talking to him Monday and he seemed very optimistic about our chances and fair play to him he’s come to Derbyshire because he wants to play more cricket.
Like you I’m retired and attend virtually every minute of every form of the game, we’ll have to meet up and share a beer, it’s carling that you drink isn’t it ?

Rosenior was completely unproven. If he was ‘already good’, why didn’t he get the job permanently?
Hull are ‘well up the league’? They were 20th and now they’re 16th. He’s meeting the brief but let’s not over-egg it. He’s doing a respectable job. Nothing more, nothing less.
All of our success is due to the squad Rosenior assembled? What a great way to undermine the job our current manager is doing!
People said Warne would have to rip the squad up to get them ‘playing how he wants’. This has proved to be untrue. People said the football would be a turn off and attendances would drop to 12k. Again, it’s untrue.
We have signed no-one and gone on an unbeaten run stretching back to October. We have played with a left back at centre back, a central midfielder at right back and an attacking midfielder at left back, and we’re 12 games unbeaten in the league. Even many of Rosenior’s signings have performed better since he left.
But of course none of that is down to the current manager, is it?

In my experience the majority of away supporters have to stand up because the minority refuse to sit down.
I would love to use the seat I have paid for.

We’ve only paid 25% of our non football debts we got away with around £20m that we didn’t pay HMRC plus all other companies that only received 25% of what we owed them. Coventry City are not in administration, after all the crap with Morris I want us to be ran sensibly and for us to be sustainable. I remember when we nearly went bust in 1984 Stuart Webb said the club would never be in this position again, since then we’ve had the 3 amigos and Mel Morris nearly destroy the club

There's an agreed timescale for it to be lifted in the Business Plan and that's what Clowes agreed when the EFL approved his takeover.
No-one is being unreasonable and neither Coventry or Cardiff are being treated leniently as far as I can see.

They didn't go into Administration, we did. They haven't left creditors out of pocket, we did. Yes, that's the responsibility of Mel Morris, not David Clowes (he's done what was required under the EFL rules), but it would set a bad example if we simply started with a clean slate and no limits on what we could now spend on rebuilding.
There are set EFL rules that govern what restrictions are imposed on teams after exiting Administration which are designed to prevent us from splashing out transfer fees etc so soon after paying only 25% of our debts to non-football creditors. That's only right in my view, even if some of the treatment we received during Administration still rankles.

Where is the fairness in Coventry City getting an embargo (or other restrictions) simply because their landlord... the owners of the stadium that Coventry City rented... went into administration?
Coventry City have taken the due punishment for their "crime", as set out in the EFL membership handbook.
Our "crime" was worse... much worse... and therefore our punishment is more severe, and is still ongoing.
Seems very fair, to me? ?‍♂️

Hopefully the wicket will have a bit more in it for the bowlers this season, every championship game at the county ground was a draw last season and probably cost us a chance of promotion
