I agree it is irrelevant how comfortable you are if you get knocked out but I was replying to a poster who said AJ broke Helenius down in my opinion he didn’t he knocked him out with one punch after 6 pretty uneventful rounds.
AJ may already have been preparing for Wilder but I presume most of his training camp was geared to facing Whyte a late change of opponent is always difficult. I agree with you that if AJ tries to have a slugfest with Wilder he’s the one more than likely to lose

The thing is Fury took Wilders best shots and still got up and outboxed and ragged him about, Fury needs to get back to fighting credible opponents though I get that he’s making a fortune fighting an MMA fighter but boxing needs the best fighting each other, unfortunately politics often dictates these fights rarely happen. It was great to watch Crawford v Spence last month and that’s how you prove your greatness 

The other problem AJ has is he gasses out in the championship rounds! Against wilder if its a knockout either way its okay! If he goes deep against a boxer like Usyk or fury he will struggle later on in the fight if he cant get them out early!

We should have scored at least 330 from where we were after 30 overs but our bowling attack is so weak I don’t think we would’ve defended that. Glamorgan strolled to 300 I think our best chance is to actually win a toss and bowl first at least then we know what we’ve got to score, anyway I’ll be back Wednesday probably after the rams have been knocked out the league cup 😀

Tyson and Lewis peaked at different ages Tyson was world champion in 1986 Lewis didn’t turn pro until after the 1988 olympics even though Lewis is nearly a year older than Tyson. Tyson became world champion when the heavyweight division was very poor, that’s not Tyson’s fault but I think for 2 or 3 years he could get away with his outside excesses if it had been a strong division he may have retained his focus for longer. Lewis was a huge man with great right hand and superb boxing skills that took longer to come to the fore where as Tyson was fast and powerful. Lewis lost twice once when he had that clown Pepe Correa training him against McCall and when he didn’t prepare properly for the Rahman fight (filming oceans 12 I think). He avenged both defeats
Once Lewis teamed up with Manny Steward he went up a level or two. I’d take peak Lewis to beat peak Tyson but that’s only my opinion when they did fight they were both past their best and Lewis gave him a proper beating. I think Lewis could’ve knocked him out whenever he wanted but wanted to give him a good hiding due to all the crap Tyson did pre fight

And the man in your way is giving up about 6 or 7 inches in height, 4 stone in weight and isn't known as a puncher.

Fantastic ashes series, as good as anything in years. A case of what could have been perhaps, but a brilliant and enthralling watch from start to end.
