Mike knows a bargain when he sees one. He would probably spend enough to get us in the Premier League, then enough to just keep us in it. I would take that right now.

The financing seems a little odd. Main investor 80%, AS plus one other 10% each. Will she be able to maintain her 10% when they start pumping money in, or will it be diluted...

Empty M of the Month Bells bottle from Cloughies days. Not very valuable because there are so many of them.

He may see DC as a money making project, he likes gambles and getting into the PL would make him a tidy packet...

If it’s a toss up of no one and liquidation or Mike miserable Ashley I’m taking Ashley. Even if he saves us got us back in the champ and even sold us then I’d be happy. Sometimes you have to do or have things we don’t want and if this was one that my club survived I’d take it. Not many of these interested parties are going to take this club on with the debts and not owning a stadium some will walk. This all depends on how much hmrc can be brought down. If I had the money and it was costing me even 40 million of debt and then I’ve got to buy the stadium I would not buy Derby county for near 80 million it’s just financial suicide for how much income we would get in league 1

That's Newcastle, would need to spend hugely to catch City, Chelsea, etc.
At Derby he'd be aiming for one or maybe two promotions to get to the PL, stabilise there, then sell at a large profit. Different from the Newcastle situation.

It’s quite scary to be honest. The NUFC fans have never liked him. But he did get them back up to the PL by selling players at a good price and bringing in cheaper versions which kept them within FFP I believe.

I might be wrong of course. It would be interesting to know who the group of Americans are, who were reported to be looking around the club last weekend

True but the right sort of lease makes that more than workable. I think I am like you though .. I want my house to be mine without covenants. It rarely happens, but for me it’s how it should be in a sensible world

I would go for that - the bills get paid and we survive and may well progress - he is also opening two stores in our city centre as well

If we’re not careful, with some of our debts secured on the stadium apparently, it might end up being called ‘The Dell’.

So the owner of a Derbyshire based company is about to have money burning a hole in his pocket. As confirmed on the BBC the Saudi Arabians have finally got the go ahead to buy NUFC.

He likes to buy companies that are in administration.  This has been mentioned a couple of times over the last few weeks

Wonder if a possible scenario is payment in full if reach PL, meanwhile an agreed percentage.
If I was buying would want a full and final settlement now though.

Probably sums up why prospective buyers waited for administration. The buyer can ask the administrator to set out a true and fair view, discuss with all the creditors, come back with a one stop deal for the buyer to obtain the lot. The first price likely to be too high, the buyer will ask them to think again, and finally decide whether to do the deal or not.

Many say it was the best goal ever scored by a Derby player. Hinton beat three men on the wing before firing in a pinpoint cross which O'Hare brought down with his chest, and in one movement laid it off to Hector. King Zac swivelled, taking out two defenders before nutmegging a third and firing an unstoppable shot in off the post and bar.

Ok, I haven't really got a clue, but if it makes you feel better, it bounced off his knee, onto his arse and bobbled over the line.
