  1. Manufacturers will likely switch to making EVs even without government mandates. It’s just where the market is heading. It's kind of wild to think about how fast things are changing and how much different the car scene will be in just a few years. If you're still on the fence about traditional engines vs. electric, there's a useful article on diesel and gasoline engines that might help you weigh your options: https://www.a1autotransport.com/diesel-vs-gasoline-engines/. Breaks down some of the key differences between the two, which could be handy when you're deciding what kind of vehicle is right for you.

    Yeah...

It's like knowing what you need to score on the last quiz to pass the class. But these schedule shifts happen a lot due to TV rights and other matches like cup games affecting things. It’s not really sneaky. It’s just how the game is set up sometimes.

I'm using Sport Score to keep track of games and stats. They're not dependent on big TV schedules.

    If alls true,

Lets see if this scenario works, MM and CK don't see eye too eye, MM doesn't want CK anywhere near PP, MM has a word with MA, MAs people have a word with Dawes, Dawes spills the beans, Shyte hits the fan, Q pi$$ed off, Consider calling CK exclusivity off and offer to other bidders...ie MA

Did we really land on the Moon ?

I wouldn't be surprised if that is not exactly what has happened. I've had a feeling all along that MMM and MA are in cohoots .... Not sure about the moon bit though ??

Do agree with that as I don’t believe Ashley or Appleby will let it happen.
Next couple of months regarding wages etc will be difficult.

The whole world seems against Derby particularly Boro and Gibson and the EFL.
Seems like doing well on field has worked against us as other clubs afraid we could stay up.

Really need to duck Boro and Wycombe off.

It's called blackmail , the EFL have Boro's CEO on their board , that's a MASSIVE conflict of interests so the EFL will just sit back , if we go under it will be a lesson to other clubs if we pay up their board member is happy and they would probably get a kick back from him

So the EFL wont let us renew any contracts and wont let us sell the club (because they think the claims of Boro and Wycomb are more important)? What the duck to they expect us to do?

If that's what "working closely" means then they can duck off. Absolutely disgusting.

Maybe they want us to go under as a "lesson" to all the other clubs ??

They most certainly are not helping us in any way shape or form

  6. It's great trying to play out from the back but we do not have players capable of doing that other that 39 year old Jags  , problem is we don't have the option of going direct either due to having no proper forwards / target men , we do have lots of runners though so maybe we'd be better playing into the channels at least then if we make a mistake it's further up the field ?

And if he had ….. then everyone would be saying he’s got piles of money and no ambition, has no right to call himself a fan, etc etc etc

The club was losing money before he arrived.

True but he knew that , fans always want more but this is Mel's busines he makes the final decisions and signs all the cheques

Whether or what we do any business will be quite telling for me.  I have a theory that goes along these lines:

The EFL can't really pin anything on us at all and we all know that the rest of the league are baying for blood.  The EFL want a points deduction and we are rightly resisting that.  If we were to do some business it would indicate to me that we have accepted some form of punishment from the EFL.  If we don't do any business and we stick to our guns I expect the findings from the EFL investigation / resubmitted accounts to show no wrongdoing (accompanied with a strongly worded statement about future conduct).

I for one think we have enough to stay up as we are.  The dream for me is that we can somehow lift the embargo for January and can invest in the squad, integrating the new players in the back half of the season for a promotion charge 2022/2023 season (to the premier league that is!).

If we do sign anybody today expect a points deduction to follow fairly shortly.  My view is that additional signings will be conditional on that!

We will be in serious relegation trouble if we do not bring at least another couple of attacking options in , games so far this season have shown that we are still not able to score / kill teams off and we have virtually nothing to come off the bench from an attacking point of view, with Kaz , Bielik , Lawrence & Knight available we'd be OK but avoiding injuries and suspensions is just not possible in this league , we've had an ok start but failed to put away teams in and around us even though we've been the better team for the first half , it's not just talent it's energy With talent and we are woefully short

What do you want, a spreadsheet? It has been widely reported that Morris has funded Derby to the tune of £200m during his tenure. I haven’t checked the figure. Can we both agree it is a lot of money that no one else has stumped up?

We don't know how much of his own money he has spent against how much he has "loaned" us . The biggest hits we have had have been in poor transfers , identified by his team and authorised by him , his choice not ours , 10 out of 10 for effort -12 for results (probably)

3 more would be enough. In this order:

Wisdom - to cover CB and RB

    Striker

    Winger / Attacking Mid

Wisdom seems to have gone AWOL , Could Cashin be the CB cover ? (Menghi more likely) we missed a trick with Tom Carroll and we re not getting Garner either so presumably Shrek has other players in mind , other than Delap I don't think we've been linked with any other strikers ??

Genuine question: do we really think anyone with a player that needs developing would look to the Derby coaching staff as the people to do that?

Man Utd or Everton might I very much doubt the rest would. The situation we are in is not good for youngster development and I doubt prem clubs would want their kids scared by getting beat every week

I'm sick of it. Why do we have to make it look so complicated.

I thought this under Cocu, overcoaching. When Wayne got the job, he talked about simplifying things for the players and I liked the sound of that. And actually I think that was one of the big reasons why we went on that good run. What happened to that?

Football is a simple game, just let the players play.

Our good run coincided with Bielik being in the team ,b it ended when he got injured , absolutely nothing to do with Rooney's management

Get some perspective bud. Think of the context in which he's operating. Think of the money he's spent chasing our dreams.

You'll never forgive him? You want him booed? Poor show IMO.

The money he's spent chasing HIS dreams , we get excited when we sign players but as far as I know not 1 single fan has influenced any signings we've made or wages we've paid etc other than Mel , whatever team we put out will be well supported (although it looks like not many will be there) but I'm not so sure about Mel , every other club has had to deal with Covid but not many are in our situation
