Just caught up with this 'interview'. Wow. Couhig is an absolute ?.

Agent Martin Atkinson, the EFL's man on the inside.?
-
+1 for Curtis. He's the real captain of the club - absolute warrior. Jags a very close second. Just hope he can be re-signed this month.
Really though, all of the players deserve so much credit for the majority of the performances so far this season.

Gone for a win, we need it otherwise it is absolutely game over, especially if other results gp against us.
2-0. Curtis.

Ffs then it will be February. What a duck up
The cynic in me says maybe it will be done in February. Then we can't buy in January but can sell. Administrators say that they tried hard but it proved too difficult to get over the line in time due ro large debts, complicated financial situation, HMRC and Mel's financial mismanagement.
Hope I'm wrong.

While I agree he is having a purple patch at the minute, If we are all but doomed by January then I would definitely get rid of Lawrence for the best fee we could. At the reported 37k a week he is on, we could get far more value by using the savings running the club/ servicing the debt / signing a cheaper 'replacement' or maybe a youth player could step up and fill the role etc. At least then the armband can go to Curtis without causing any issues.

So less than 0.05 points for Derby. A new low !
Another points record that we would have little chance of losing ?

Rooney has said multiple times ..no player leaves unless he wants him to leave..and he has had assurances from the Administrators that no player has to be sold in January to provide funding..so I'm really struggling with the Armageddon posts in this thread..have I missed anything apart from BS clickbait nonsense stories?
I am under no illusion that we will sell this window and for me it's just posturing on Rooney's part to say that we don't need to sell to at least try and get a decent price for whoever we get bids for. As soon as anyone says we will sell players / we are skint, that's when the derisory bids come in and we will be forced to accept. This way we at least have a chance of getting a fair price for our players - but I'm sure the other clubs know this too ?

Will Radio Derby put a link to listen to this again? I want to listen again later and also my mate missed it.
It seemed more positive than I hoped and want to find the hidden trapdoor / trap ?

Just when you need a good delivery, poor corners by Byrne.

But I think all we need to do re the EFl is slap in the returns. We don’t need their sign off (though we have obviously tried to get it in advance). If the EFl have a problem with the returns, they need to start another case against us which as we know will take ages to resolve. So provided HMRC are sorted, Tuesday sounds plausible. Big week ahead!
Fair point ??

I've just read something along those lines on Twitter, let's see what happens on Tuesday. Can't see the embargo being lifted immediately unless EFL have already had sight of the accounts and have signed them off as ok. Time will tell......
