Over-rated tinpot club in an over-rated tinpot city.

Living in Uttoxeter i know a few Birmigham fans and on saturday i was lucky enough to be in the same pub as some of them as they got relegated.
I'd done a 15 mile charity walk from 0800 to 1230 and we went to my local, the Three Tuns in Utch for a buffet and drinks. The walk was in memory of a fellow Rams fan who passed last year with proceeds to Macmillan.
As we gathered in the pub some local brummies were there who i knew and their match was on telly. 
I'd done the walk in a Rams shirt so was wearing it in the pub. As the game progressed and we saw that they were going down one of them came over and gave me a bit of stick cos of me Derby shirt. 
I reminded him that my son had given him a good hiding 20 years previously and it would be embarassing for him to receive one from someone his dad's age!
His dad came over and dragged him back with profuse apologies.
 
I have zero reason to be sorry that Birmingham have gone down!

The hard-core fans loved it, neither Luke or I knew that many of the setlist, until the end and the encore, which was magical.
Still really enjoyed it though.
Incredible band live, 3 hours literally non stop, I don't remember even a pause for the first 6 songs.

I have tickets for Wembley in July. My 5th Bruce gig. 

Back to virtually minor counties standard, SO disappointing 😢 We haven’t really been competitive in any game so far.

Not one of my favourites either. Dead Ringer and Midnight at the Lost and Found are good. Two out of three ain’t bad. 

I've not had my stats, but I've calculated that I've seen about 50 games and travelled around 1km , mainly to the kitchen or toilet.

It came out of the original Play for Today called The Black Stuff from a couple of years earlier (well worth hunting down if you haven't seen it) and Bernard Hill's performance stands as one of the greatest TV performances of any era. RIP.

Thing is, that catchphrase became just a comedic thing when i was a kid, but watching the episode again as an adult it was heartbreaking and deeply moving. The whole thing really captured the damage that the Tories did to the mental health of a generation of people (mostly men) who suddenly found themselves on the scrap heap as the unemployment rate went through the roof

So you'd spend nearly £1m on a goalkeeper who conceded 85 goals in the Championship, but wouldn't spend anything on the guy who changed the course of our season?

The Vampire Ship is an in-depth investigation by a Greek journalist. He hasn't as yet proved anything, but it's a fascinating read and raises allot of questions about how Marinakis has operated in the past. So many people have died in suspicious circumstances who were linked to the story that it demands exposure and investigation, but whether it will ever lead to convictions is unclear due not least to the way business is conducted in the region.
