The minority stumbling and cavorting around the pitch is ("Will be") an inconvenience to the majority.
If you want to go on the pitch fine, but it's sad if you spoil the fun for the majority, and spoil the plans currently being mooted by the club as a whole, the players, the staff, the club hierarchy, and their families.
By staying in the stands, you, me, and all of us will enjoy celebrating... together.

I certainly won't be going on the pitch after the Carlisle game and I hope others don't too - let's just stay in our places and not spoil anything for anyone.

Personally I think a pitch invasion for reclaiming our normal place in the Championship would be a bit tinpot.
Letting the players celebrate together and then having a lap of honour is a far classier move than invading the pitch and swarming the players, including opposition players who are left in a pretty vulnerable position in the majority of these over-glorified pitch invasions.

Pompey fans assaulted a Barnsley player on the pitch and some pubs were looted on the night in Southsea, hopefully if we do get to celebrate we do it in style and not like idiots .

Firstly, a win tomorrow will not guarantee us promotion unless both Bolton and Posh drop points as well. So, celebrations on that level would be dangerously premature.
Secondly, such a pitch invasion would be a moronic thing to do and I sincerely hope no one is even remotely considering it.

The job Warne has done, since Stevenage away, has been exemplary.
You cannot play one touch 50 pass moves with league 1 players. Not feasible. If we blow it, and have to face up to another season down here, Warne is definitely the man to rebuild us and go again.
If we go up, he will have earnt the right to build a Championship squad and have a go at keeping us up, as per his original brief.
I know he's marmite, with his off-beat personality profile, but he's clearly an honest and genuine man and it's hard to see a nice guy cop for abuse.

I hope a minority don't let us down and run onto the pitch either at Cambridge or the Carlisle match. The team will no doubt do the usual parade lap (Regardless of results as we have as a minimum made the play offs) If a pitch invasion happens then that will be cancelled.
    Don't ruin it please!
And also can the parade lap go around the perimeter, and not stop at the penalty box please?

At the risk of coming across as a party pooper...
Away fans invading the pitch at Cambridge, particularly "in numbers", will almost certainly lead to sanctions against DCFC.  It will most likely lead to fisticuffs on the pitch between rival fans, and... this is my favourite bit... potentially lead to individuals and/or groups being left with a criminal record and/or some form of ban on attending future matches.
Home fans invading the pitch after the Carlisle game would likely follow the above, plus piss off those who, due to being a little more considerate and polite, choose to remain in the stands to applaud our heroes, and will likely... as has happened in the past... lead to the abandonment of any planned "Lap of Honour" by the players/staff, which of course, should happen for the enjoyment of us all.

I can't help with tickets, but I hope that: a) your Dad's progress continues; b) you manage to get him a ticket for the final day; but most importantly that he continues to progress his recovery.  You don't need to tell him a Pompey fan sends him best wishes, but I'm pretty sure if others from the 92 saw this note they'd all be saying the same thing.  Love to you and yours.

Hi Duracell, we have a pair of ideal seats for you, we picked the seats because we're close to friends on the opposite side of the aisle.
We're stair 41, row kk, seats 398,399 immediately next to the aisle in the lower east in line with the edge of the centre circle on the south stand side of the half way line. Row kk is about 4 rows down from the entry stairs and the seats are on the right as you walk down to them.
We could meet you at the bottom of stair 41 in the concourse or you can just let me know your seat numbers.

I don't want to...or need to. It adds nothing to my enjoyment or the end result.
Plus there are too many unknowns. You score an early offside goal in a match, you then choose to sit deep, soak up pressure and you give up a few chances but ultimately you win. The stats are totally driven by what happened in that initial incident.
If the goal had been disallowed,  the whole game would have been played in a totally different way. So all the stats are pretty meaningless to me.
You disagree...but I don't see the point or merit in your view anyway as its a lot of thinking about stuff that is impossible to know anyway.

You clearly do a lot of work on stats in football. I hope it brings you joy and wealth.
I personally couldn't give less of a monkey's about average discrepancy to the chances/goal average, xG, or any of it.
I watch football for fun, for the joy of that moment when the ball hits the net, the intake of breath as a defender is beaten. The satisfaction of winning a game. The shared pleasure of a successful season.
I don't understand what you are saying, why you are saying it, or what joy you get from following football.
Maybe if you diluted your intensely dry and rather hectoring stats lessons with a post or two about the actual football, or the Rams generally, folks would treat you with less disdain.

Here are my stats that I also hope you trust, as I too have worked hard on them.
Teams that accumulate more points than 22 other sides in their division over the period of 46 games get promotion in the English football pyramid 100% of the time.*
