I’ve been to see a psychiatrist about my fixation with camping.
He told me to relax as I was two tents.

I've still never seen a decent explanation of how shorting shares, and other such nonsense, helps the economy at large.
Can anyone explain how it's not been made illegal?
I understand it makes those who make the correct calls immensely wealthy, but I assume not many institutions a normal everyday person invests with are involved, so what purpose does it serve?
As far as I can tell, it's using money to make money, for the sole reason of making money, not to provide goods or services that the average joe can benefit from.
Exactly this 100%.
These people are the real parasites of society.

Taxes for high earners and for businesses are soft targets politically. Not sure it helps the economy though to put up business taxes when most businesses have been struggling after lockdown and the fuel price crisis.
Corporation Tax DOES NOT hinder struggling businesses, no profit means no tax to pay.

At this rate we'll have had three PM's since I last went to a game, (Shrewsbury away). Will she last until 14:59 tomorrow?

That press conference was a total embarrassment and laid bare her lack of intelligence. Bond markets have reacted accordingly.
Early G.E is inevitable now, if the Tories want to be re-elected in the next 20 years their MP's need to step up and call one now.
Her and most of the cabinet are educated idiots.
For £46,000 a year, you'd think Eton would churn-out a few useful ones?

Won't all the League One games be a 12o'clock kick-off that day?
So Charlie will have plenty of time after the game to get a helicopter down to Westminster Abbey for the coronation at 3 o'clock.
That's if he can manage to get a ticket for the match in the first place.
Down as a 3.00 P.M. currently.
I bet the May Day bank holiday will be moved, (rather than give the Proles an extra day). It is a 'socialist' holiday after all.

If there are a few 'Black Cabs' (i.e. Hackney Cabs) on a rank at Stansted, ask a few of them for a fixed price to Ipswich and go with the cheapest.
I once was coming home through Manchester Airport when the trains were all over the place and non running for a few hours, so went back to the Taxi rank. They all wanted a minimum of £70 to take me home, (there were several drivers sat outside their cabs - must have been a quiet spell). I just said 'I've got £50 and no more otherwise I'll wait for the train', one said OK, and I saved £20.

My pension fund as it stands, has lost 17% of its max. value.
I’m of a mind they’re a big Ponzi scheme. City spivs getting rich on the back of the working class, who’d a thunk it?

Just been announced that Charlie and Camilla’s coronation is 6th May.
No doubt Thick Lizzie stipulated a Satdee so us scum don’t get an extra Bank Holiday, but it also knackers the last game of the season away at Hillsborough.
Thoughts?

Have you thought about something a little less embarrassing like a mobility scooter?
I can't wait to get mine. Can even get covers on so the seat doesn't get wet whilst you're in the pub.
It’ll still get wet when you piss your pants tho.
