Sorry but people have lost the plot ,,, or rather scared out of and bribed out of the plot,
we get colds , we get bugs , we get viruses,it’s a massive part of what keeps us healthy and robust and if we go down the route of this madness being pushed we are going to evolve into a species that is vulnerable to and really endangered by the slightest every other thing that touches us ,
but hey let’s just destroy the way we build and keep resistance to illness and let’s make it legal for everybody to not work at the slightest sign of a cold and grind the country to a halt ??‍♂️

Although weirdly, life expectancy has more the doubled over the last 300 years in the UK. I blame that meddling "science", with their evil vaccines, medicines and nanny state hygiene rules. We want our freedom back.

That’s where this stuff gets tricky ,,, death penalty for instance is something I’m pretty sure I would want imposed for horrific crime if they were committed against a loved one but by the same token I’m not sure if I can agree with them morally when not personally impacted ??‍♂️,
were this my son with whitty ( lucky would never be ) would I want him to lose his job and poss his whole future for something so stupid but not malicious ? I’m not so sure ,,,though I would be having serious words in terms of proper apology and NEVER behaving that way again with anyone , youngsters can be bloody stupid sometimes ,some Learn from it some don’t , you only find out which it is by giving the chance

I’m with you most of the way and like you my lad is a lovely kid ( well 29 now) ,, this bloke seems a bit of a twit and deffo needs putting straight but sacking him for that seems very very harsh , think if I was whitty I may well have stepped in and asked his company not to sack him for it and an apology being enough , poss that may have taught the bloke more about decency than the sacking but hey ho

As far as bringing the company into disrepute, I am led to understand that they acted before his name made the national press. I heard a senior employment lawyer yesterday saying that the company acted too quickly and that would not be seen to well at a tribunal. Also that bringing the company into disrepute is not easy to prove and very difficult when not on company time.
Saying that, I would not want him working for me but an employer has to follow the law and sometimes the law is a ass.

How can he be any kind of loss when he contributed nothing ...should never have been signed hope he enjoyed being paid a decent wage for doing absolutely nothing ...as much as i have sympathy for people with problems why did DCFC think it was a good idea to sign him in the first place 

Just interested if we all cast our stone’s evenly, with say the likes of a Tom Lawrence , mason Bennett or Richard keough for instance , who did and didn’t lose their livelihood s ??‍♂️,

Here’s a novel thought,, how about we go back to normal and start pumping these billions into the health service ,like training staff, employing staff, doing away with paid car parks where a nurse can spend half her wages just to be able to park up and go to work , improve wages to attract staff , improve and provide more beds and facilities, perhaps a service that’s not at breaking point EVERY winter
forget the above it’s just daft , there’s nothing in that for the haves and want mores??‍♂️

Whatever his future intentions are he conducted himself with dignity and class whilst at our club …our first ever foreign manager and for me never really got the backing that other managers got like Clement buying poo ? 
had a lot to put up with it seems with the whole Keogh fiasco and a squad short of top quality when he took over but think he helped our youngsters a lot 
really wanted him to succeed here but think the whole Rooney thing helped derail things ….I wish the bloke every success in the future 

Chatting to some friends at the weekend and they without flinching said they expected we would have to lock down this winter to save the nhs as flu returned , they were serious and happy to accept that , even promote it ??‍♂️

Of course it won’t ,, they will all be dead from covid after not taking the vaccine ??‍♂️

May take a while , there’s so many weird and Wonderful, bizarre ones knocking about that make no sense there will be ones they forget to lift and like Japanese soldiers after the Second World War will be comming out the undergrowth years on??‍♂️

I think its all restrictions being lifted other than:-
Travelling anywhere
Going to school
Wearing masks
Having fun
Getting on with your life
