Because Smith has forgotten he's playing today?

Think it might be the shape, would like to see us switch to 4-3-3, Adams isn’t at it so I’d take him off for Bird then get either Barkhuizen or CBT on for Bradley. Give Cambridge something different to think about and get Collins in the central positions

I hope we blow automatics and mess up in the playoffs. Or else it's going be a long season hiding behind the sofa, scared of the mighty Hull and this incredible Watford side.

We’re all busy watching Derby away at Cambridge, worry about next season and the summer another day fella, go on, just this once.

I believe that’s not allowed - pitch has to  stay same size all season.

In all fairness, despite not playing well. We should have won.
The chances that Adams and Waghorn missed were absolute sitters.
You could argue if they had fallen to Collins he would have scored both.

Agreed and Bird has proved pretty consistently that he is fully focused on the Derby cause until he leaves and I imagine would absolutely love to be part of two big wins to close out his Derby career.
Anyone questioning his commitment to Derby is way off the mark IMO.

I'm sure Max will want a promotion on his CV to cap his time at his boyhood club.
To suggest he won't be committed to this shows no respect to him.
I just wouldn't risk him for this game, save for some minutes at the end.

He really played his heart out after the move was announced, there's no way he'd be half arsed if came on in these two games.

My only comment about the comparisons with the Reading match was at the time we were on a downward spiral with a defence that leaked goals for fun. Neither are the case this time.

What’s the qualifier for the phrase “blind-faithers”? What is served by making generalised comments about other members of the fan base?
Some people are able to take this season as it is, see we’ve won more than we’ve lost, scored lots of goals, conceded the equal lowest number of goals in the league and put ourselves within touching distance of automatic promotion, is their “blind faith” being repaid? People called for patience citing things like the need for the team to gel, Warne and his staff’s previous experience of promotion at this level being an advantage, the quality available in our squad telling in time…is that “blind faith”?
Some people have concerns about what will happen next season, should they be labelled “wrist slashers” for thinking only the worst will happen? Or should it be acknowledged that there could be grounds for those concerns based on our inconsistency at times this season, the need for further recruitment, the manager’s previous record at the level above etc?

It’s all opinions, some of which have been proven correct some of which have been disproved so far this season. Generalising labels at any section of the fan base just seems unnecessary to me.

What it shows is from a nadir which, figuratively speaking, had fans reaching for the revolver, the team has been on a run of 100-points a season, which is impressive by most standards, yet still not good enough for some it seems.

Adams, Gambian international. He's not an idiakez on the ball, far from it. However, he wins more ball back than Idi did. The lad's a ball winner and he then gives it to a ball player. On top of that, he's not exactly useless as his recent goal showed that he has good ball control.

I've been watching Derby for 40 years and every year many people say "it's a really poor league this year". The quality of football does actually improve year on year - watch anything from the 90s and it looks like non-league football.

Yep, and if that opinion is something like "that line-up alone is a sackable offence", they deserve to have the p*** ripped out of them when it blows up in their faces, no?
