Yep, slightly. Very tight though so I don’t blame the officials too much. VAR would have spotted it. Unfortunately it isn’t used in L1 😔

Happy with the performance. Players dug in, showed grit and determination. CBT had a good game. Only player that didn’t play well was NML, pretty much anonymous. 

 Management however, for me at least, got the subs all wrong, as well as the second half mindset. Invited too much pressure.
 

That said, good result, keeps Bolton at arms length, and more importantly still In out own hands, with an «easier » end of season fixture list than our rivals.

 Wildsmith has been borderline suicidal in some of his performances lately. However, can’t critique him too much for that goal, hit with so much power and with a swerve. Hard stop that. I agree though on the lack of control, it almost always amounts to increased pressure received that makes the odds of conceding more likely.

Great strike, but Thompson at fault there, went the same side as Collins in the press. If he goes the opposite side, that fella has no room to shoot.

Hourihane and Bradley shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting 11.

The staff need to be fined for some truly baffling tactics and substitutions. The players need to be fined for a totally unprofessional performance. A torrid day, and a very damaging result.

And that red card confirms what I think about Bradley as a footballer. Plonker.

The players should be fined a weeks wages. Same goes for the staff and the proceeds used to refund the traveling support. Performance can be better described as gross misconduct, no matter the result.

Frontman or no frontman, we should be able to play better than this.

This is so bad, I can’t put it into words. Diabolical performance. But let’s face it, there have been quite a few of these this season.

True, but mobility wise he’s shot. Players just brush past him, and he can’t close anyone down. Since the whole midfield are not very good, would sooner have someone with legs.

Hourihane should be subbed again, his light jogging session should be over. It’s like playing with ten men. Would replace him with Smith. Bradley needs too toughen up, way to fragile and shaky for a centre-half, doesn’t fill the back line with any confidence. 
 

Really bad half of football. Build up is way too slow and predictable. Continue like this and we will lose. Needs changing at half time, Northampton look like they want this more.

 Bradley is so weak. He looks nervous, never really appears to have any situation under control.

Changes have not had the desired effect so far.

Triple sub. Agree with the changes. Hopefully will see an improvement 🐏

After the promise of recent performances, we seem to have reverted back to the usual stuff. Every time we play a promotion contender, we seem to be afraid to play any football, give the ball away more often than not and invite pressure. 
Hourihane’s legs have gone, he’s a total passenger, it’s like having a man less, should be hooked at half time. Would bring tommo’s energy on. A real shame about Gayle as he was hitting some form. Hopefully it’s not too bad.

That said, no really clear cut opportunities for Bolton (a part from Wildsmith’s wonder save), they knock the ball around nicely, but no real penetration. However, keep playing like we are, I can only see one winner. Warne needs to be braver, just seems that he has set up not to lose.

Bright side, it’s still 0-0. Needs to change something at half time. Hopefully will see some improvement.

If I were a reading fan, I would feel aggrieved…. But thank feck I am not and I couldn’t give a damn how the feel! Considering all of the awful decisions that have gone against us these last 2 years, we are due a bit of good fortune.
