I would imagine Waghorn will be released and probably Smith.
Decisions to make on Tommo, Sibley, Wildsmith, Fozzy, Collins and Barkhuizen.
Think fozzy benefits from a one-year option in his favor…

Great result and whilst the performance second half was a bit dire in general the effort and desire of the players was superb. Just check their faces at the final whistle- they were knackered and relieved.
I expect Bolton to beat Posh and as we have seen sometimes this season, when the latter lose they can sometimes lose big. If we take this as job done already then we are fools. Carlisle are bringing a (for them) massive 2,000 to Pride Park and they are going to try and put on one last performance and claim one big scalp in the process. If we relax and they score and Bolton are also winning then that GD-winning thread is suddenly looking very thin and fragile.
We need focus in this game and once again an early goal to settle things down. I say we go at them first half to try and put the game to bed early. I don’t want to see us trying to play out a draw. It’s just too risky.
You can almost taste it- but we need one last push from the team and fans.

Bloody Wildsmith making a pigs ear of a simple situation yet again.
Someone needs to have a word
He’s really been a bit dodgy recently with crosses…
-
U’s centre half is built like a brick sh@t house. Crikes.
-
Bolton all over Vale- just can’t hit the target yet 😳
-
NML should have scored. Very poor effort.
Game too open- we are chasing around too much .
-
Good save from Wildsmith but mayhem in the box came from him missing the cross in the first place..
-
-
Grief- the pitch seems tiny 😳
-
Interesting that three U’s players all tried to body check NML from kick off… sign of things to come !?
-
NML has some very bright boots ! 😎

Really not liking the way both the Bolton and Posh forums seem to have us cruising to an easy and obvious victory today….. hope that mindset hasn’t seeped into the heads of the Derby players..
This isn’t going to be an easy watch…
Players need to be 100% switched on and patient. They were rushing things too much at Northampton and Wycombe.
Man, what I would give for an early goal to settle things down…

Typical comment from you. Thought you might be a bit quieter after the response you got to your post earlier.
He does have a point though…. If we just keep going down the flanks then Cambridge will just double up and shut us out..

Nerve jangling time still, as there are still 3 teams who could get the 2nd auto promotion spot. I think we really need a win at Cambridge on Saturday which would then give us an excellent chance.
Bolton play Port Vale on Saturday and you would expect them to win (as we expected them to win big last night!) although Port Vale will be fighting hard to avoid relegation. If Bolton score first it could become an easy win (to reduce the goal difference). It seems they struggle a bit when the other side score first.
Peterborough travel to Bristol Rovers and must win really. Bristol are a strange animal who can be awkward. I do expect Peterborough to win though. They then play Cheltenham away on Wednesday which again could be difficult with Cheltenham desperately clinging on (could Curtis do us another favour?).
I would expect Bolton and Peterborough to win both their games. If Peterborough do not win their games then we face the possibility that they may rest players for the match against Bolton on the final day, making it easier for Bolton. If Bolton win against Port Vale, they have to keep going, play their strongest team and overtake our current 5 goal advantage in their last two games.
I know I have stated what everyone knows but needed to get it off my chest.
Oh, for a win on Saturday! But we all know we don’t do anything easily. I also expect a really difficult game against Carlisle, who have a free hit while our players will be on edge (silly mistakes, sendings off spring to mind).
I am sure it will all be fine! (Fingers, legs and everything else crossed)
It helps to talk and share- especially at tense and stressful times 👍😎
To be honest i am so bloody nervous i almost can’t bear to watch the Cambridge game 😳🐏🐏🐏🐏

Obviously we have been fixated on Bolton and their results lately… but Peterborough to me are actually the bigger danger if we become complacent and screw up at Cambridge- i can see Posh winning all their last three games and with a very positive GD.. the gap in that GD looks large now , but as we have seen Posh are very capable of some 5-0 games when they are on it…
Yes, they supposedly have a few injuries now, but the window is still open for them…
We need to win Saturday mo matter how we do it.

I agree but I'm just saying, don't count your chickens. As has been mentioned previously, it's not that long again that we only needed a draw at home to lowly Reading (admittedly, a different proposition to playing Carlisle - I hope) to make the play offs but we ended up losing.
I'm also predicting a draw in that final game Posh v Bolton but who knows what will happen. One team may be resting players for the play offs whilst the other is going all guns blazing in order to overtake us. Look at last season. Barnsley, already in the play offs and 12 points ahead of Posh, end up losing 2:0 at home to them on the last day.
I agree. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. Yes, we are one step closer but that’s all- the way things have gone lately u almost feel that the drama isn’t over yet.😳
We need an early goal at Cambridge.

Watched the second half on Bolton TV - I have a friend who subscribes 😀 - tbh it was a bit like the Alamo at times, amazing how much pressure Bolton had but, besides the much shared chest in - didn't really create much in the way of chances. The commentator was getting a little bit tetchy with it all, diddums!
Credit to Bolton though- when they were behind (and despite being without their midfield talisman) they kept playing their football. A lesson our guys need to take into Saturday - and to not panic and rush things like they did at Wycombe .

It could be that, or it could be "the conspiracy theory"?

Cambridge still have a battle, we need a point as an absolute minimum.
Clean sheet please Mr Warne.
Makes u wonder what PW’s approach will be if it’s 0-0 or 1-1 with 20 to go ….
go for the win (as he says we always do- although watching us play one finds that hard to believe) or settle for the draw and take it into the last game knowing that we might not even need a point on the day …
-
U have to start wondering about Pompey and those penos… and the conspiracy theory…
Yet another dodgy one given at Fratton Park…. How can Pompey have been given as many penos as Bolton and us combined !!?!
Shows the value of having a loud and boisterous crowd right next to the pitch ! Plus the normal saaarthen club bias of course…. But nah, that’s me being paranoid I’m sure 😎
Surely we can’t mess this up now …😳

Irony being that he has made it very clear that he views himself as a champo player and that he didn’t come here to play L1 football all his contract…. And yet if we did get promoted I just don’t think he would be good enough and wouldn’t get game time 🤷

BW likely to win easily.
Key is that we want it to be by no more than one goal re GD…. 2 at most….
