Elder, Ward, Bradley, Fornah and a terminally injured Waghorn and Washington. That's a lot of wages, probably very good ones at this level, injured or not playing. If I was chairman I'd be reticent about spaffing fees and wages on players with that track record of signings. Think we'll only be going so far, funds available or not.
So never sign anyone ever again?

Is was referring to forwards. Waghorn obviously good shout, when available.
I am thinking back to when we had Ince on the RH Wing cutting in and scoring a lot of goals.

Looks like from videos he scores with Left foot mostly. Could add useful balance to the forward line where, bar Sibley I think our players are mainly right footed?

I would put it closer to £12m than £10m. Our playing staff wages will be one of the highest in the division, but I reckon our non-playing staff wages are THE highest. Charlton, Portsmouth and Bolton in the same wage bracket, Oxford just behind.
Is this because of CAT1 Academy? (More coaches etc?).

Unfortunately the window is open and we are 4th 4 points off 1st with a game in hand and in a similar position to last season. We added the bare minimum and faded away and fans are worried of a repeat. The Peterborough game and Bradford game I felt the players looked off the pace and leggy. We still have 20 odd games left with an ageing squad and too look back and see another failed January window will leave little excuses for a second time especially not taking the experience of doing it before.
as a side note if not everyone wants to debate the transfer window I’d be happy to debate who we all feel of the signings we have made and the squad in general who is likely to be the best human, has the best beard or would win in a food fight session

A tray of chips with mushy peas on top. See also bean/curry/gravy mix.
The best ones have mint sauce on too.
I like to ask if I can put salt and vinegar on the chips first and then peas on top after. Don’t want a vinegar swamp on top of the peas.

Good news. A good month.

I love Cash, but would be ok with a swap for Rashford.

We went back 3 at the weekend as we didn't have a fit "back 4" RB available with Nyambe away at AFCON. Neither Ward nor Wilson is a proper right back, IMO. That meant we had to go back 3. If Smith was fit he'd have been at RB at the weekend. He's still not training with the squad so he's nowhere near ready to play. I think we will see a back 3 for the rest of this month until Nyambe is back. He will be straight back in as we look far more solid with a back 4 than a 3.
Stop talking sense..

Been told today from a good source that JCH is off to Charlton for 300K or there abouts...seems a strange one him going there but does that free up CBT ?
It would be a little surprising if one of the top 4 sides could not match that kind of fee.
-
Anyone have a feel for what he would cost fee wise? Rumours that the Peterborough forward fee (to Charlton) is about £0.5M so probably similar given younger age?
Good chance a champ club will take a punt at this price making that a probable destination?
-
Charlton 13 pts off playoff place now, so I don’t think they will be overly bothered who they sell to.

Warne stated in his post-match interview that they want to keep him but it's down to others at the club to negotiate with Arsenal....
Do we owe money for that big pole?

We are probably the 4th best team in the league so we need that belief and mentality to get top 2
Peterborough and Portsmouth look very good, Bolton I think we can catch
Think we need some quality adding if we want top 2 , older lads looked shattered
Have we got the bottle and mentality
Cmon Derby
On what I’ve seen. We are on equal par to Portsmouth and Bolton and behind Peterborough.
Ideally someone will pick up a few more of Peterboroughs better players in Jan so they can drop back where they belong.
