Positive #1. 2nd in the League
Positive #2. I have been too busy to come on here since last night and get irritated by the bed wetting posting minority who want us to be Ipswich re-born and anything less is not good enough.

I genuinely believe the only reason we are anywhere this year is because the division is the worst it's been in years. The likes of Ipswich, Plymouth and Wednesday last year were levels above any team in league one this year. I think this crappy division masks just how poor we are. We're rubbish, I don't care if we're sat in second. The eye test is a complete giveaway.
Ipswich 100%.
Plymouth better but not by miles.
Sheffield Wednesday I would argue are on a par with the best teams this year. They went on a massive losing streak remember and stumbled over the line.

Any opponent in top half can be really dangerous. I think how we and others do against top 6 is important but not necessarily the most decisive factor. If you deal well with everyone else then a defeat against a top rival is less likely to be damaging.

Genuinely when was the last “defensive howler” from Bradley? I don’t recall any recently, I know there were a couple in quick succession early in the season but in the games he’s played over the last couple of months I can’t think of any
I would agree. Based on the last 30 mins of Cheltnam game I am fine with him getting a chance. Given Ward, Wilson and Sibley can’t defend very well it makes a heap of sense to go for the three at the back.
-
One plus with Bradley is he is a better passer out of the back so it kind of suits Warnes tictacs that many hate. Hopefully this means we will give the ball away less while trying to execute the plan.
Stating the very obvious, Bradley needs to cut out completely the defensive howlers for this to make any sense at all.

If they can’t be up to speed (match fitness) quick there is little point if they are not in the future prospect category.

Depends how long a contract etc..
Short one to the end of the season is fine if he is fit to play from the off.

I really like Fornah. I do think there's a player there. I think he's far too laid back and loses the ball to easily sometimes. But he's young and has potential.
But for what we need now. If Peterborough even considered swapping JCH for Fornah then I'd do it in a heartbeat 😂
Maybe with a bit of Bird Dosh also this could be an option?

Is it possible that someone is in for Hourihane? Not ITK but given this signing we probably can’t get both him and Bird in same team.

I still think Fornah, Bird and Thommo as a midfield 3 is the answer
Bird or Hairyhands are interchangeable to me. Just don’t play them together

According to https://salarysport.com/football/league-one/peterborough-united/
he's on £6100 per week... would he be worth a punt ??? ... I can't believe Michael Smith is on less and he's 3 years older....
I think (guess) that he wants a big pay rise and a long contract which is why Charlton can’t agree terms.

It’s amusing to think that if we had nicked a couple more points (which we could easily) we would be top of the league while playing 💩 and probably arguing amongst ourselves on here just the same.
Funny old game as Greavsie used to say.
-
Well that was cack other than our goals which were excellent.
The tactical plan B worked very well though, so have to give some credit for that. Probably stick with that formation until the first choice full backs are back and play ONLY ONE of Hairyhands or Bird.

Do you think that includes throwing tennis balls?

We'll have some of that. Right foot, left foot, headers, strength and pace. Yes please.
Looks quality TBF

Wouldn’t pay £200k up front, but wouldn’t be against an “up to” with a chunky sell on clause for them. If it was up front £100k then there is a good chance we would not lose out if we wanted to sell on.

Well see at the end of the season.
Sheffield we’re not all that good as is clear from the champ league table.
