  1. I guess that if this (recall) is mainly about game time, then other teams may be reluctant to let their equivalent players to Osula come to us as first call.

This may mean that the best “Young Raw Talent” type loans may go to other middleing L1 teams?

  2. Hasn’t Warne said several times he is looking for 25-30ish age bracket players.

Not has beens like Charlie Austin.

Suspect we will be looking at squad championship players that are decent but selling team needs to move on in order to strengthen themselves.

As long as we get a right back in I’ll be happy to go with what we have elsewhere until the summer.

  3. Even football at its worse is better than most sports to watch live.. Golf (stand at one hole, see something every 5-10 minutes) Tennis (look left, then right then repeat) Snooker and cricket (too long, with periods of little happening), Rugby (rules to technical to be able to follow from the stands.. makes VAR look like child’s play)

  4. Finish 3rd after an amazing form run gets us into top 2 only to drop out on last game of the season.

Wrist slashers demand Warne sacking before playoffs in which we scrape through on pens to the final with expectations low.

Final vs Ipswich is tense affair, 0-0 with 5 mins to go when Richard Keogh inexplicably volleys one into his own net, rips his shirt of showing the “Once A Ram” vest underneath.

  5. Bird and Hairyhands in the same side doesn’t work that well (usually) for me.

Think we need one or t’other but appreciate that with current squad it is often needs must and they are both in.

I think we would ideally have a more fierce powerful battler type general (good day Bradley Johnson) in the deepest midfield role allowing one of Bird/Hairy to be picked based on form.

They certainly do, but at what cost?

Losing KB on a permanent in the transfer window wouldn't be a miss, as he's not been here all season.

Losing Knight on the other hand could be a huge loss. I know he hasn't played every game, but if he were to stay fit, there will be games in the second half of the season where having him available could be the difference between drawing and winning.

If you gave me the choice of our current playing squad, all staying fit for the rest of the campaign, or a couple of ins and a couple of outs, I'd be tempted to go with what we have.

2 or 3 good signings might still need time to integrate into a Paul Warne side, whereas the majority of the current playing staff are looking up to speed.

Steady progress this season and a shot at the play offs would be quite remarkable considering where we were only 6 months ago.

I’d quite like the challenge of integrating a new right back.
