300 up front with 200 when we stay up

Peter Gadsby probably a bit old for this kind of hassle now? Must be in his high 70’s?
Probably not the kind of guy to be mates with rival property developer either.

I guess if we want it done quick, then we may have to pay a bit of a premium as there is nothing in it for Cardiff to do that unless they are desperate for the cash to do other deals.

What’s the magic juice for doing well in our scenario? (Looking back over past promoted teams in recent years).
Copy what they did..

We played 5 and 4 frequently this season. Expect it to be the same next, so having personnel for both necessary.
-
Risky to release all the forward’s before we have signed their (any) replacements. Especially as it is the hardest position to recruit.
Suspect we will keep Collins and leave carrot dangling to TJJ and Gale for time while trying to get better* options.
*They are both quality, but too fragile for me, while Collo we know will be there for us.

I don't think we're looking at quite a George Thorne scenario but I imagine we'll make series of bids, slowly rising, until one is finally accepted. I'd say absolute max £400-500k plus add ons.
For a player they weren't using, who didn't cost them a fee, and is in the last 13 months of his contract; I don't imagine there will be too much resistance.
Cardiff, currently 10 points off playoffs are far more likely to be looking at tailoring their squad to a (unlikely) top 6 finish than looking to recall a grafter.
Ebou seems like a good guy who appreciates the simple things - what he has seen today, the key role he has played in recent months, and the affection the fans already have for him makes me think he will want the move. Win for both teams and the player.
Also to just say the way he celebrates making tackles or winning fouls at times is one of the big moments of the season for me. I love the guys passion.
Exactly where I’m at. Main risk is other teams fancying him and a bidding war.

Happy days. Surreal atmosphere for the last 20 mins.

If it is only us in for him then I would expect £200k ish as I don’t think Cardiff will want to be stuck with him if they don’t fancy him.
Biggest risk is that Cardiff look at his Rams form and decide they want him after all.

Similar pathway to Kane Wilson, how much was he? Less than £200k I would say (within the Knight deal)

If Peterborough win their GIH which is likely, they would surely go for it next weekend even for the remote chance.
They wouldn’t say “Goal Diff Looks unfavourable let’s rest a few”

One last push me Ode B4..

Id be amazed if Shrewsbury got anything tonight to be honest. Hope they do. I just cannot see it.
I would agree. I can imagine if I were a BW fan I would be feeling the pressure of “must winning”. So far the BW players have stood up under pressure well and I expect them to again today.

Come on you Shrews..
