No I saw that. It also said that they will have to decide whether to sell now or risk him going for nothing.

Yeh - But we keep having to start from Year One all over again every time we get a new manager - This is my biggest frustration
For me this is the most successful Year One we've ever had - A full and proper clear out and drafted some genuine talent in from the youth setup - Now Year Two needs to be about getting the style right and establishing a spine for the team - I'm totally fine with a mid-table finish if we can see that moving in the right direction

This post should be pinned, not lost in the obscurity of a possible transfer thread.
It shows that Derby County fans can be rational, sensible, consider circumstances and look at the bigger picture. Nice one, @cheron85.

WIthout wanting to come across as too melodramatic, who knows how much damage this is doing to our attempts to secure additional investment?  The knock-on effects of this issue could impact a lot more than just the spirit in the dressing room........

According to Jim White a moment ago, a reconciliation is not beyond the realms of possibility.  Make of that what you can!?!

Exactly this...If Keogh loved this club as much as people think why not accept a lesser offer and keep negative publicity away from DCFC but no......he's done wrong but no apology to fans and doesn't want a pay cut...club was generous to offer him any deal considering his age and what he's done.....he's not coming across very well in all of this...maybe it is this arrogance which led him to stay out later than was expected and getting drunk in the first place..he's not acting how I would like our captain to act  if he was a decent captain surely he would've shown an example and told the likes of Lawrence and Bennett to get themselves home via a cab.......now this is going to drag on if he appeals....this club has no feel good factor at the moment and i fear it will reflect on the pitch.....sorry times

I still can't believe we let 2 drink drivers that caused life-changing injuries to a passenger who they left without treatment for 45 mins, just walk straight back into the team.
People now talking about leadership. There isn't any at this club.
Agree with the club on Keogh's wages. Disagree strongly on Lawrence and Bennett.

Great to see some of the great team remembering winning the second division championship fifty years ago, the boys that put our team onto the map and started the fantastic journey that would make us champions twice of England twice and European cup semi finalists! Really entertaining night at the quad !

A truly memorable and heroic effort on your part, @loweman2.  In awe of what you did for Jim.
It'd be nice to think the other players from his generation would drop him a note to congratulate him after so long without what was rightfully his.  He earned his medal and you earned my total respect for doing this selfless act.  Well done.  Hope your son is proud of what his Dad and Grandad managed to achieve.  Great for him to rub shoulders (well, his shoulder to their hip) with such legends of our club.
    Cheers!⛹️‍♂️

Fantastic effort mate, we’ll done, great to see him finally get his recognition.
I was another who lived up the top of Spondon in the 70’s (off Sandringham), probably delivered his papers, it was a bloody hard paper round that  Sancroft Road round.

El tel was done before Christmas, I managed to get invited to a special signing, only ten people were invited and it was over in enemy territory organised by some dirty red dogs, as you can see it ended up as a bid of a session and I ended up looking older and worse for wear than terry who himself wasn’t looking his finest ! Though it must be said that he seemed to have more hair now than in the 70s, all in all it was a funny time, he was only over from Australia for a couple of weeks and said that it would be his last time in the motherland.
another top man and very funny !

Mr Derby County at his 70th party that I was lucky to be invited to and take Jordan along to meet more of the Derby County legends , he came over and sat with us for 15 minutes and was very open with his conversation.

This is the one that started, when I found out that it didn’t matter how big a name they were they are all just normal guys, even this man, invited me and my old man into his home, and made us laugh, also had a very serious side to him.
he was the one that got the whole thing going, put a team together and took on the footballing world, outspoken, a maverick but a great footballing brain, a genius, his like will never be seen again in football.
we were lucky enough to have him as our manager and to many he is still the face of Derby County as synonymous with the club as the snorting Ram or the BBG !
the one and only Mr Clough !
