A lot of players that might have considered staying are now going to be dashing for the door as soon as possible.
Yup, thought the same.

Very F****** disappointed. Should have known we can't be excited for more than 5 minutes. The day we potentially get a new owner?!
....give it to Rosenior please.
-
I would be a little supprised if he goes now. Looks like we will be able to offer people contracts now. Played the most football he's played in years last season.

Does the loan mean we can offer contracts to our soon to be out of contract players?

Hm ... so Q decided not to consider a bid from billionaire MA, with unquestionable football experience.
They overlooked Applebys consortium, a man with years of experience of managing derby previously. A man who didn't previously leave derby in a huge amount of debt.
Q has once again selected a person with zero experience of managing a football club.
Mm was supposedly a derby fan, who was a local businessman with a lot of money. Yet he left the club in a horrible place.
So now Q send in the clowns, I mean Clowes, is he similar person to MM. On paper it would appear, that way, at least in as much as he's meant to be a fan of derby and is wealthy local.
Like mm he's supposedly a long term fan of derby county.
I can't understand Q reasoning here.
Surely Appleby or MM would be better owners of derby, than a total unknown.
Actually what am I saying, Q just have to put forward the highest bid as the preferred bidder.
They don't really care if its in the best interests of the fans.
I wonder if Q will face legal action from Appleby of MA on this, only time will tell.
Are you seriously moaning about someone who is prepared to invest their own money and save our club?
Do you think he might have been the one that put forward the best bid?

Need to get the owner in asap so we can get this man a contract. Would be gutted if he left. A true captain (that wasnt) who lead by example. Supprised it seems no one has come in for him yet.

If there is a bid that ticks the boxes just get it done. We haven't got the time to be dragging this out waiting for others to make a move. I hope what talk sport have heard is true.....for once!

I didn’t say best option, that will depend on who Wazza can bring in. Jack Stretton has pace and can cause major issues for defenders at this level. I’ve watched a lot of League 1/2 over the last few years and many defenders struggle to cope with pace.
I'm happy to be proved wrong, but I doubt it.

Stretton should be a handful in League 1.
On what basis? If he is our best striking option for next season I would be worried.

Lol. Nice try, but he'll have plenty of transfer info for us - well if we get our 40 players that is! ?

(Insert club here) may or may not sign (insert player here) imminently.

Looking to get a transfer to another club is one thing. At least the club would get some needed money. But to try to legally have your contract cancelled is disappointing. Wish they had the same level of commitment that Rooney and many others have shown. If they fail in their legal action and remain with us I would be supprsied to see them on the team sheet again.

Appleby sounds slot more confident than Admins statement on Sunday. .
Exactly what I thought. To be fair I don't take any notice of what Q say anymore.

Should Stretford and Rooney have a say in who buys DCFC ? Who is their second choice for a new owner? Rooney said 14 months ago “The takeover needs sorting very soon”. Perhaps we will get a statement soon from Wayne, after all he is the manager.
If this isn't sorted in the next couple days then I can only imagine the next statement from Wayne will say that unfortunately he's off.

Like alot suspected Kirchner is a total Bamford.
Let's hope MA fancies getting his wallet out.

WR to resign in the morning?
This was my first thought. I hope not, but wouldn't blame him at all.
Would be gutted if he does.

Should Rooney stay I can see Nicky Butt coming in. I thought when he left Manure this would be his destination. It is a big IF though that Rooney will stay.
Maybe even Michael Carrick?

And yet Ashley offered so much less that not just the admin could t accept it but neither could the efl and we wouldn’t get the golden share to play in league 1. He’s been waiting around 9 months to offer a packet of crisps and a cup of tea.
loke I’ve said the door is open now he knows the price it takes. Put the money up or do 1.
I agree. He needs to put his best offer in now, as do the other interested parties. Time is almost up.

I'm going to have to agree with you now. This morning I was confident most of the lads will stay. Not so much now. I too hope rosenior gets the job.
